my god these eidolons were hard 2 years ago and now i am making this look to easy.
all i have left is vanielle's and hopes to get.
i will have to replay the game to get lightning and snows eidolon on my channel.

4:50 It is so cool when that UI pops up in the middle of a cutscene, its used as a signal that the party is about to throw down and I love it.

This was such a good part of the game. As players, we totally felt Fang’s rationale. Cocoon hates her, so why should Fang fight for them? But freaking Lightning is PERFECT! Such a growing moment 😭

The people are wrong, this game is very advanced for those times, I prefer linear than a sandbox without history.

100 percent christa i my self have only played one final fantasy game and it's 13 loved its battle system really fun to master i even beat atticus with 5 stars

13 was my first FF game I ever played. I personally loved it!!! I can see where people were coming from to a degree but I still personally liked it! But Fang was the one who drew me to the game!!! I love her!!! She is my ideal woman. But that's me anyway. I played and beat FF13 but it was a long ass time ago though lol

damn i forgot how difficult this game gets at some points. ff13 didnt have much exploration and was pretty much linear, but u know what the sphere grid is like another game all by itself and that thing is by no means linear at all, not one bit. and the story was amazing to my personal taste, this and ffx's story are my favourite

Only way to even level up like near the beginning, is destroy all enemies, save, restart the game so they spawn again, rinse and repeat

@@godofsin4604you dont really need to grind early game, maybe a bit in chap9, but chap11 has many good grinding spots it makes early game leveling a waste of time

For this coming out on the PS3 so many years ago, the special effects look incredible!!! Even better than some new games coming out or have came out just a few years ago!

This was always an amazing show of Fang's inside mind. She loved everyone else and hated Cocoon. She'd rather kill them than to watch them turn Cie'th. Especially Vanille. Her internal conflict is massive, and Lightning's character growth is awesome. 13 will always be my favorite ❤

So, the first time I ever got to this point, mid cutscene I got pissed. I thought I was about to fight Fang as a boss battle. And all my good items and training went into Fang so I thought I was about to be FUCKED. And then Bahamut came out and I had to fight him, and I got fucked regardless.

I wasn't a Final Fantasy fan at first. I didn't play 7 or any of the original games. But when I watched my at the time roommate back in the early 2010s play FF13 and I saw Fang, I fell in love with her design! She also had a kickass personality! I also don't mind Lightning. I can't stand Snow or Hope. But Fang is my all time favorite Final Fantasy character!!! I played and beat FF13 because of Fang! I know I'll get a lot of hate for this but I don't care!! Fang is awesome!!!

Fang was the legitimate reason I even stuck around to bother finishing 13.. Fang I believe, had to be the motivation for the rest of the group.. Let's look at the facts, shall we? Lightning was a merciless douche, Snow was a bewildered hero wannabe (I pitied him because he tried so hard to make it look like he wasn't) Hope was a whiny pussy (even though his mother died in front of his very eyes as he was being forced into battle.. kinda contributed to it) Vanille was simply a ditz (in a mentally unstable down syndrome-ish kind of way, nevertheless, she was cute) And Sazh was just in it for the comedy (shits n' giggles) lol Fang was a plain, laidback, determined gal.. with a witty touch of humor.. Fang was an amazing character.. and her drive to save cocoon was also astounding.. we all know lightning could never do it alone.. even as an elite ex-soldier.. she has a few anger management classes to nail down.. has she always been that way?? Or is it the pain of having to go on without any family? Noel was alright.. right along with there with Fang.. Fang made 13.. I rest my case.. you go, aussie badass.

I agree with you 150% Fang is the main reason why I even got into Final Fantasy. I watches my roommate play it for the first time and when he highlighted Fang and told me her name I thought she was awesome from that point and knew I had to play this game. I know a majority of the people put Lightning in front but I put Fang in front because she's just that fricking awesome! I bought Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2 and still need to get Lightning Returns 13. But regardless Oerba Yun Fang is the reason I got into Final Fantasy and I want to meet her voice actress Rachel Robinson so badly and thank her for voicing and awesome character! I bought the figurine which is currently sitting in my closet and I even own a shirt I barely wear and a pillow case. Yeah I'm obsessed with Fang but she's that awesome! :)

+Kelsey Curles Actually the developers probably disagreed with you as the entirety of Lightning Returns is basically just Lightning completing the game by herself, even though I too liked Fang and Noel more than the rest, except for Snow. Snow was pretty good too. If you want to talk about "witty", I think Balthier was the king of "wittiness", but then again he was the only good character of XII (basically.)

amidst a bunch of idiotic characters, appears an independent woman ready to take her convictions until the end. that's fang. she is not the best character of this game... she IS the ONLY character that i liked in FF13. she stood on my party for the rest of the game.

Lightning was also independent and ready to take her convictions until the end. The very scene was one of many example of that. Impossible that you stuck around _only_ for Fang when you hated everyone else. You are just being hyperbolic.
