I have all kawis. Brutes,teryxs and all have big bore kits with cans and head work. The teryx has 50 shot wet kit. If maintained well they have no issues. I take the CCV rubber tube out and leave the CCV hose hooked to air box on all my bikes and utvs. Never have any issues. Take the tube out when you split case. If you do split it.

Ya, my buddy rebuilt it...hoping to getting it back in the atv this coming weekend. I need the winch for some emergency shelter repairs. LOL! Thanks Man!

Hello there I'd like to know all the parts you bought for the rebuild I have to do the same to my ATV I saw a box frome fortnine did you buy all your parts there 👍

Ya, got all my parts from Fortnine. 8 valves, 2 Wiseco pistons with rings and a gasket set. Good luck with your rebuild.

Hello, is the old piston the original piston used by Kawasaki or has it been replaced before. I have the same piston on mine.

I believe they were the original pistons.

How bad is it to remove the engine?

It wasn't that difficult, easier than I thought it would be. One thing that made it easier was the fact that the drive shafts just pull back and disconnect.
