Here are some controversial opinions i have about kBeauty to help deinfluence your from the hype around some products including the Anua Toner and the cosrx Snail Mucin.

The anua toner a hundred percent works for people who ACTUALLY HAVE the problematic skin that product is clearly targeting towards in my opinion. you won’t see results if you don’t have red or inflamed skin so obviously you will not see a difference, nor the people who are not experiencing these problems will. Everyone I know that has inflamed, acne prone, and cystic acne have said it makes the difference. So it’s making a difference and deserves the hype it’s getting since it is doing everything and more that it claims to do.

@@aasiyakhan9258 It's the original video creator who is making broad statements about these products, not just whether or not they worked for him. Lilah3051 is speaking about his/her experience with it. I find this commenter's and others replies useful, because I have had a hard time telling if the heartleaf toner is improving my skin much, now that I've significantly reduced my acne with many other ingredients (tea tree, lavender, mugwort, propolis, and oral spearmint). Any product that can soothe inflammation and prolong time between breakouts is welcome in my routine because my hyperpigmentation following a pimple lasts 2-6 months! We all have different skin, and no product will work for everyone. For instance, many people find that essential oils worsen their acne, while mine is improved. Also, even though I have combo-oily acne prone skin, I find sleeping masks useful, especially in the winter, and generally don't worsen my acne. Again, my skin and experience is not the same as his, but he is making general statements.

The anua toner was a miracle for me, I have acne prone dehydrated oily skin and it helped to soothe my skin and also prevents new acne. But everyone has different types of skin and not everything works for everyone and we need a lot of trials and errors to find the best products for our skin type and concerns

I genuinely love the cosrx snail mucin, it completely transformed my skin and i don't think i'll ever stop using it. It also did the same for my brother when i got him to start using it too. I guess products just work differently on each person depending on skin type!

Same, I use it too, but it runs out so quickly. I've only had it for two weeks, and I'm halfway through the bottle already. I put two full pumps on each side of my face, morning and night.

So Anua is good toner, I have bad acne, and it helps to calm my irritated skin, it is not treatment but it helps. And the snail serum makes my acne worst...more white, painful juice pimples. The last one I agreed with u

I think you guys have an allergy to snail mucin. I noticed some snail mucin will make me break out while others will not. So I am not sure what causes it.

@@liyanatassim1291 with snail products there sre the possibility to have closed comedones. if you still wanna use it, I would recommend to wash your face for around 1min and also double cleanse. also super important to exfoliate, so the snail mucin doent have the chance to help dirt and bacteria to be in contact with your face for too long. myb also cleanse in the morning if its still bad

I think Anua is popular cause it is THE toner for acne prone problematic skin. I have normal to dry skin so it has never appealed to me as a toner girlie

I love the skin1009 sleeping mask! but you're absolutely right - it's not smth that acne prone or oily skin needs :) i have combi skin so i mostly use this one my cheeks and under eyes and i love how hydrated my skin feels in the morning

The snail muscin was my favorite back in 2018 once it went viral in 2021 going from being like $13 to like $20 it just doesn’t hit the same when it cost more 😂

Hmm I disagree about Anua when I first use it it wasn’t popular, but every time I have pimples or beads on my face, it was just gone from my face a few days. I would say it isn’t the same with other products so I swear by this product but I guess different skin is different

Parnell toner is so underrated! It has 79% of Cica+ manuka honey+ LHA. It also has 8 types of hyaluronic acid. That's a pack of a punch in a single product which can sooth, calm and hydrate the skin while gently exfoliating!

I have red, very inflamed skin from cystic hormonal acne and my experience with the Anua toner was HORRIBLE 😣 It would sting my skin upon applying it and it felt really astringent/drying. Zinc gluconate, an ingredient as old as time is one of the best skincare product ingredients for inflammation of the skin imo. I have a few HG toners but I’m generally down to try new products so always have my favs and a couple newbies on the go at any one time.. I rarely dislike a product as much as I hated that anua toner

I started using anua even before the hype and even before english speaking influencers shown it. I was searching for a cheaper alternative to abib and stumbled on it. I am not very good with my skin care and it really show its effect. If you have good skin, it may not be as good. I use this as diy mask and it is soo good. Also fake kbeauty products are a thing so be careful especially if it is a famous product.

There are so many k beauty brands use heartleaf in toners, my first heartleaf toner is from Rovectin and second one is from Jumiso, so I don't find Anua toner as versatile or worth the hype but their toner with peach extract is good and underrated. Jumiso has great snail mucin toner with peptides and I don't use COSRX anymore.

I absolutely adored the snail mucin essence and it hydrated my skin really well, but I would always get these bumps on my skin. I find out I am allergic to shellfish, so I can’t use it anymore, and the bumps have cleared up.

Agree with you on the Anua toner. (Is Numbuzin the new industry plant? 😅 it also blew up a while back, I like Numbuzin but it's not WOW). Sleeping masks were so hyped a few years ago,I didn't really like them except as a heavy duty moisturiser,I loved the Purito one. Most sleeping masks are chock full of silicones,you can tell because they pill like crazy.

I feel the same about Numbuzin and many skincare influencers were shoving it down people’s throats 1-2 years ago. I caved in and got the no 3 & it was meh. Nothing spectacular & my skins feels no different from my previous routine. My routine could go without it. Now I’m just trying to finish it up.

No 3 really worked for me tho. And it only took 2 weeks applying it 2 times a day for my texture to improve. Like magic my blackhead and whiteheads were gone

The Anua toner was good, but have you tried the toner pads? they helped clear my texture and redness and overall I believe they're better than the reg toner.

Thank you for your candor. It appears that integrity is lacking in many influencers. I've tested both the overhyped Anua toner and Corsx snail mucin. While I found the snail mucin enjoyable to use, neither product showed any improvement to my skin.

Ok i saw your video and bought dokdo toner instead of anua. Then my sis came to visit and i tried the ana toner and i cant look back. I love it so much i have kept a back up. I dont think its as versatile as dokdo but if you have acne prone , irritated and dehydrated skin it is the best!!

Agree with the last one. When starting my k skincare journey, I found out quickly sleep masks were not for me. Instead of making my oily/ acne prone skin better, it made it worse!

You're right. The Anua toner actually made my skin red instead of the opposite. Because you know what my irritated skin DOESN'T need? Mildly exfoliating fruit extracts like sugar cane and apple.

The fact that a product doesn’t work for you, doesn’t mean it isn’t the game changer for others. Even when you have same conditions with a person, what they use may not work for you and this is fine. Calling a product an industry plan is wild! I have an hypersensitive skin to everything, weather, sun, water, makeup etc… the Anua and Abib heartleaf toner have been very soothing over the years. There are other toners i have used and they didn’t work which is fine!

I love the anua toner, it works really well on irritated sensitive skin. My skin is usually irritated pretty easily in the sun, the pollution in the air, I end up red and inflamed, with or without sunscreen. My redness goes away with anua. It really calms it down. I feel like this is specifically targeted to a concern some of us have with red, irritated or inflamed skin. So I wouldn’t chuck it out the window just yet.

I’m in my 40s with dry skin and using a sleeping pact as the last step in my nighttime routine has definitely changed my skin for the better. I totally agree that’s it not good for oily or acne probe skin, which were my skin type in my 20s.

I love cosrx, and believe me i really tried to love their snail serum, but i just can’t get over the texture. Apparently, I’m not friends with sticky-sappy consistency.. i eventually finished the bottle by using on my dry legs and feet. It’s an ok product.

Cosrx snail mucin is a saviour for me when I apply makeup on my face...my skin glows and it doesn't even look like I have applied makeup,it hydrates my face alot,plus I am person whose skin type changes according to the weather(ik it's strange or may be not)and cosrx is perfect for 365 days....

I like the anua toner.. doesn't break me out at all..light texture..my skin is quite clear now as I have oily combination skin... it's just hard to find a toner that suit our skin type..

One of the things i learned about “industry plant” or overhyped products is to never get influenced and purchase it instantly, instead I should look for products carefully, I like to read people’s reviews on reddit and other forums! man i bought the snail mucin bc of social media and I had the worst 3 months of constant cystic acne 💀 I kept getting one after another.

I looked at the Anua toner ingredients, wasn't impressed, and passed on it. I currently use the Abib toner which I like a lot--it is actually golden-toned inside the bottle attesting to some concentration of heartleaf extract.

See what's funny is that Anua toner really helped me with my skin by calming it down as I'm prone to rosacea and look very red while the snail mucin even though I made it's legit and to me it feels like overhyped Hyaluronic acid serum lol. If I want humectant I'll rather use glycerin mix with rose water with 20% of glycerin. I'm sure that some products are GREAT but not every skin is the same so some work and some don't....each skin has it's own issues.

Nah. cosrx snail muccin is awful. Atleast for me. I do get some acne here and there once every few months but this broke me out so bad. Like my face was burning for days. But anua toner is so good.

The anua toner really does feel like an industry plant lmao I see that crap everywhere! I get annoyed seeing it now that I used up my whole bottle. The anua toner reminded me of the pyunkang yul toner I tried ages ago. Glorified water. As a combo skin it was not providing moisture for my dehydrated cheeks. Not without a ridiculous, unpractical amount of layering. Soothing and acne fighting it was not. I used this after irritated skin from a shower and after full face waxing… yeah it didn’t reduce my redness more than normal, it made my face sting a little, and the acne went away on its own at its own normal pace. The only positive was it didn’t further break me out. Worst hate pan I did in a while.

I have a sleeping mask from fresh, not a Korean brand, and it works so well! (I have acne AND oily skin) it makes my skin look and feel sooo soft and skinny when I wake up every time without fail! But I only use it one or twice a week. It doesn’t remove acne or anything, but that’s not its job. I disagree with that opinion bc of my own experience! It works, you just have to wash your face to remove excess even if it’s just with water.

for me that cosrx toner did absolutely nothing, I tried other toners w snail bee and the one that did a miracle for my was Benton's snail bee line, so ig it also depends on other factors

Illiyoon is good, I liked it and repurchased. I have combination sensitive acne prone skin. Aestura 365,atopalm,and pyunkang yul blue label are also good for atopic dry skin. If you have it where you live,Bioderma atoderm creme is also good, as well as the atoderm body wash. It is safe enough for babies.

The Anua toner did not work for me I have very dry skin and it gave me more pimple and redness and irritated my skin

What’s your opinion about toner pads? Is it really necessary.. I mean it’s just toner soaked in cotton pads and I don’t understand the hype behind it…

cosrx snail mucin was magic to me till some point then broke me... i think the new fomela is just bad ...

Use their good morning gel cleanser to wash the face. It will stop the breakouts.

@@rukiichi85 try celltone snail gel line. It's a south african product so it's not on any boycott list. I've been using alot of south african products like bio oil, marula oil and aloe ferox and rooibos based skincare, and my skin is baby soft and even toned

I’ve read Amazon reviews that said that the anua 77% heartleaf toner breaks out hormonal acne, but can anyone who used this toner clarify that?

I tend to have hormonal cystic acne on my chin near my period, I’ve been using the anua toner for more than 3 years now, it helps to soothe the bump and whole face before I spot treat it with benzoyl peroxide gel.

It really depends on your skin. No review can tell you how your skin will react to a product. For some people the toner resulted in break outs

Omg finally! So many people havent realized that there are so many good toner. Almost all toner are equal quality. So no need to find the best best hype 🙄

the anua toner actually IS an industry plant 😭 they’ve been shown to pay for good reviews to boost their brand up. there’s a reason they came out of nowhere last year, lol
