Dude I was SO into the part where he talked about the backgrounds. I'm a bit of an urbanist and I just enjoy all kinds of architecture. What makes the Avatar universe so great isn't just the characters and storylines but also the LOCATIONS! From the menacing Egyptian and Chinese inspired Fire Nation Royal Palace to the breathtaking Northern Water Tribe, each location in the universe is unique in their own ways. Without locations, there wouldn't be a journey! That being said, I don't blame him for wanting to take a break after working on LoK. You don't want to overdo it. We have to remember that we are humans and we have limits.

@@mrPurplexedYT Where are you getting the idea that the "majority" of people like LoK? I only have my own experiences and interactions to go by, and from the majority of people I've spoken with, LoK is actually really bad, from multiple angels of creation (besides maybe the artwork). Go watch some videos that breakdown why and if that hasn't shifted you're thinking, than you're just a blind fanboy. Oh, and what happens behind the scenes has absolutely nothing to do with how the quality of the show should be judged. Can you appreciate the hard work and determination, sure, but the final product should be judged on it's own merit. You don't give a student an A on their paper because they broke up with their boy/girlfriend or some other struggle "behind the scenes" if the quality of the paper doesn't reflect that grade.

I would love to see all the comics getting implemented as an extra animated series in the atla and lok series, because i need the lovely story as a lively world/animation with all the great sound design ☝🏼

I was in my late 30’s when ATLA came out. I had to watch it because my kids, who were geographically separated from me at the time, would watch it and I was wondering what all they were watching. It couldn’t have been a better investment of my time. Fast forward 20 years and I’m looking at 60 here in a few years. I’m excited for what the future is that these wonderful people are bringing to us. I spent time in Asia and love all of the influences this shared universe has. Thanks for bringing it to the world.

Thank you giving my childhood a Spectre of understanding, knowledge and fulfillment. Uncle Iroh was a great character. As an adoptive child that character made me feel like I had a family. There no words to really calculate the gratefulness of how much this series is to many people. Please understand that you ALL did a great job in fluently combining cultures but touch the hearts of many who are still growing. We all have much to grow just like iroh said. Much love thank you , on behalf of everyone. THANK YOU

I'm so glad the 2D tradition will carry on through avatar studios, hopefully it'll set a new benchmark for animation because the 3D stuff is just not the same, it doesn't have the same heart and soul. Much love

Of course Bryan worked on Invader Zim! I love Invader Zim. I admire Zim's passion for world domination, and he view him as a role model for my own domination! I'm glad Brian mentioned the fact it was animated in Korea, because fans like to think its anime despite the fact it wasn't animated in Japan, and Koreans don't like being called Japanese. Not to mention, he said in this that he didn't want the show to be a counterfeit anime but rather its own thing. If anything, the only season of the Avatar universe that can be considered actually anime is Book 2 Spirits of Legend of Korra as it was animated by Pierrot in Tokyo.
