My girlfriend of 2 years so far sent me this song recently and every time I hear it I just break down. She grew up in a terrible home with no one to look up to, she’s been through stuff no one should ever go through. She’s dealt with suicide, losing friends, family, but she’s still alive and kicking today. This is her theme song as long as she lives. If she sees this I’m very proud of her. 💜

It's good to see ppl that truly get it. Ppl look at the outer cover but most never take the time to get to know the why behind the walls. And it really sucks cause the other family I was close to is now gone too. The people I assumed would be there to help hold me down have passed. It's rough. My wife grew up in a broken home. Doesn't know her own father. Mom that dropped her on the doorstep of her grandparents house as a child. Since being married she's suffered through 3 miscarriages, 2 in 2020 alone. She found this song and found her anthem. Thank you for this.

I can totally relate to some; I am 36 and I have never met my birth father. My mom was attracted to abusive men. Not only would they hit her, but her children as well.. Instead of leaving him or making him leave; well she did the craziest thing. She married the one that was probably the worst to her and me and my siblings 4 times. He beat her, he cheated on her; he beat on us. So what happened I had to become an adult and raise 2 sister and a brother. There would have been another sibling, but he caused her to have a miscarriage. Finally she left him, after 4 times being married to him. Then she met my brothers dad. And guess what the story (Repeats). They split up, and mom worked and I raised the kids. I have had my fair share of CRAZY MEN in my life. I am trying not to repeat her mistakes. I would love to meet my dad though..I also had a miscarriage after an incident with my youngest two sons dad..Just tell her for me; stay strong and keep believing.

After 27 years of marriage, I am alone. I I felt myself crumble with the weight of the world in my shoulders always with a smile on my face in order to cover the pain of f what I was going through. Trying to figure out how to get a job to get everything paid, specially my kids education. After many sleepless nights & zombie days, I came to realize that there’s NO FRIENDS, His FAMILY slammed the doors bcs they blamed me & my kids for his MISTAKES. The ONLY ONE who was always there was GOD, I screamed & asked him to give me a sign and this song came up. At that moment I realize that I AM STRONGER BECAUSE OF MY STRUGGLES THROUGHOUT MY MARRIAGE, and GOD has never left me alone. 🙏

I lost my mom on March 19, 2022. I always knew she was a strong person who loved all people unconditionally but seeing her smile through her pain at the end so I wouldn’t be afraid is something I’ll never forget. It was her last gift to me. This song is everything she was. Beautiful

My husband played this for me when it first came out. He has been a fan of yours for a very long time. When we sat there together listening to this, I bawled my eyes out. I have struggled for YEARS with doubting myself and always feeling less than. Believing the things I was told in my first marriage. Worthless, ugly, never going to amount to anything. Hello Lee! I don't know how to use that APP! Just want to say.....this song hit me HARD......but I made it past a nightmare! My life has changed sooooo much! I may never forget completely, what ripped my soul to pieces! But...... IT'S YOU....has been replaced by a very special soul on earth.......the pain I felt so much! Its one of our songs!❤ I ALWAYS KNEW.....he was SPECIAL! AND A GOOD MAN! WISHED FOR " SOMEBODY" LIKE THAT!❤ I am 60 now! Lol DON'T FEEL IT! Living a LIFE I could ONLY dream about......w/ him! One year together! What I never knew.....he always loved me too! Wished for a " somebody" like me!❤ GOD IS GOOD! Every time I hear this song, I can only see one woman in my mind. I watched her light, which was brighter than any star, be dampened by people who took her for granted and couldn't truly see her for who she really was. Then I meet her, fell head over heels in love with her in an instant, and she was so afraid of that fact because of what had been done to her in the past. Even now, we stay friends and I am always her shoulder and her rock, but she will never truly know that I will love her without question or hesitation until I draw my last breath. All I want is to see her stand in the sun again, and I will give anything to make that happen. Her happiness is all that matters to me, even if it is without me.

This song is so me. I've had Lupus for 29 years! It's been a struggle. I'll have good days but sometimes the bad catches up and takes over. I have a disabled son to take care of. He's 24/7 care. Lost my Navy career due to my Lupus and lost a daughter from it. I cherish the days that are good days. Sometimes few and far between. My son's smile and hugs brighten my day. He doesn't understand that I'm ill because I never show it no matter how bad it gets. He only sees my smiles. I wear alot of faces. Smiling on the outside but crying in the inside. I've had 41 surgeries and fixing to have surgery on the 13th from a car wreck. I made it through breast cancer and a double mastectomy. I'm so lucky to have a husband that has been with me for 31 years through all of this. We met when my son was 6 months old. He has been the only father he has known. His real father has seen him 3 times in life and he just turned 31. My husband told me my son was a package deal. Don't know to many men that would stay. I lie to my mom most of the time when she asks me how I'm feeling. I just don't want her to worry. She always worries. It's a mother thing. I pray for everyone that is going through pain and heartache. We women are a strong force. My grandad always told me " it's not how many times you fall" it's how many times you get back up! Big hug for everyone out there! 🙏💜🙏❤️😊🙏🧡

Thank you for giving love and appreciation to your wife. I am so very sorry that she is going through MS but she now has her loving, caring and appreciative husband by side. For better or worse, in sickness and in health till death do you part. Please never let her condition be a burden or show it in her presence. I know this from life experience. So even though I’m a guy, I can totally relate to what this song is all about. I was in a bad marriage, went through a bad divorce, and then lost my 20 year career in law enforcement due to all of the stress. My ex was a gambling addict, so I lost my life savings, and my house and basically ended up homeless. My life is slowly turning around but wow, the hell I've been put through.

A friend sent this to me yesterday and I have listened to it about 500 times since then. Last year my Husband of 12 years had an affair with my best friend of 15 years. My world fell apart. Everything I thought I knew and I thought my life was crumbled at once. Now, I am a stronger woman because of it. It was a living hell getting to this point. Mine left me in 2018!! For a woman that's married and left her 2 little girls with a man that's supposed to abusive. I m starting after 3 years and she's still married but living here instead of with her husband and girls. That my husband wasn't worth having. The woman tried killing herself 4 times. She definitely needs him more than Me!!!

Lost my husband in 2018 2 years later lost my vehicle and then my home his dad decided to sell our home that was paid off but title never got transferred. I was forced to leave my home out memories to live in a Rv with no room for me and 2 big dogs but we make it work. All I want is a home to call mine.
