I ordered a 300 gallon, 10' long aquarium from CustomAquariums.com in December. A few short months later it has been delivered and covers most of the wall of my favorite room in my home just waiting to be surrounded by bookshelves and a canopy to become the new home of some of my favorite African Cichlids. This video is the first of many documenting this project.

How much was the tank, itself?... I'm very interested in having a custom tank built, depending on cost, of course.... I've watched tons of DIY tank builds on youtube, and I'm fairly confident I could build my own tank... but I want to get it all on paper, in black and white... to figure out costs and time... bc, IF it's not way more expensive to have it built, I would buy it... any personal experience u can share would b appreciated. I KNOW I can call them to get a price. But I'd rather have a good idea, before I do that... thank you.

Hi, I need one suggestion, can I put 6'*2'*2' feet aquarium weighing around 950 kg including all on concreted first floor near wall?

I thought the warranty was void if you don’t buy their stand

would make sense since a bad stand will destroy any tank.....

It's peculiar that you would mention this... I approached the manager of my LPS and asked him the exact same question.. Apparently and according to him (Mr. Know it all!) said that there is no such a clause in any warranty that specifies and makes a point of; Not using our aquarium stand will instantly void the warrenty on your new X brand Aquarium. I can't imagine any aquarium Company making a stand for a 3700 pound tank of water - they simply would not take the risk.
