I was given a chance to see them live back in 2009, They were playing outside of the venue I was going to see Disturbed, Killswitch Engaged, and a few other bands. There was literally only 30-40 people watching them, i don't think a lot of people knew they were playing. They were so good live, i was glad i was able to see them live at least once before his passing. RIP Mitch Lucker.

It doesn't matter if you listened to Suicide Silence before of after Mitch passed. If you're a fan, then you're a fucking fan. There are no "fake" fans here. We all miss him, we all love him, and we all want to witness precious moments of his life right here, right now.

penny Santos Yeah, Mitch was awesome, he lived his life to the extreme, and he was a great dude, but the fact that he died isn't a reason to stop supporting the band. They have a new official video, check it out!

I'm not going to lie and say I was a huge Suicide Silence fan before he passed, but in August 2012, I heard my very first Suicide Silence song and I started listening to them more and more. I found out Mitch passed the day after it happened and I just broke down. I've always been really sensitive and after hearing a few of their songs, I was becoming more and more in love with them. I honestly feel for the fans that have been there since the beginning, but I fucking miss Mitch. The few months I was a fan, I had grown close to them. Even watching interviews now, I shed a tear or two. Mitch, sleep well, buddy. You deserve a nice rest. We'll look after Kenny and Jolie for you. Just rest. We love you. We miss you. ♥

I was never really knew or was a huge fan of ss, but I have the greatest amount for Mitch. He was an absolutely beautiful and amazing man, and just because I'm not a fan, doesn't mean I'm not allowed to mourn for him, his band, his family, and his fans. Rest easy Mitch, you deserve it.

I was fortunate enough to see Suicide Silence live and meet the band members including Mitch and Dan on their tour in Europe 2011 and seriously, that is still one of my fondest memories today. They played in a very small club and the place was on fire, still get pumped up when I think about that night. After the show they hanged around with us and we played football, drank and joked around. Really amazing people, all of them includeing the crew, very down to earth, it was an honor for me to meet them and get to know them a little.

This interview said so much about dying and Mitch not being able to wait until Kenadee grew up and talking with her future boyfriends. I haven't been a fan of Suicide Silence for a long time but it still made me cry hearing Mitch say he would be the one to die young and hearing him say so much about living and dying. I may not be their #1 fan, but I do love the band and Mitch.

My first song of theirs was Wake up. I saw an ad for their second album (late 2009) in Revolver. What I have heard over the years since his death, he was a really nice guy. I wish I met and talk with him. RIP Mitch!

I became a fan a few months after Mitch died(about 3 and a half?) and I wasn't said that he died, but it's like, 'oh, damn. I'll never meet this guy.' But I'm still a fan. I'm still a fan now that eddie Hermida is in the band, I'll always be a fan.

I remember my bro showing me suicide when I first got in to the music genre. I absolutely loved them, soon like a month or 2 after Mitch died. It really sucked to know I couldn't see them live. Especially through all the rough times where their music has helped me in so many way. It sucks to know I can't thank Mitch personally. I'm looking forward to seeing them at mayhem fest this year hopefully I can still thank the band. RIP Mitch

I am not going to say I'm all about suicide silence! I do love their music! But I love Mitch Lucker's personality and that's what led me to suicide silence. I remember I was so excited to finally see them play at California metal feast.. A few days or maybe a week after I got my ticket he died at the same hospital my daughter was born at :/ I cried cuz I really wanted to see him
