I think the best thing that Harper did was mature. He was very immature in Washington. He became a leader as he's played in Philly. He likes it here and is proud to be a Phillie. He'll be our next hall of famer.

Harpers take on that change up made my heart sink as a Padres fan. I knew that moment if we didn't swap in Hader mid at bat or intentionally walk him like we did schwarber then he'd go yard and win them the series. I swear y'all in Philly could hear me screaming WALK HIM from across the country. That being said dude has been putting in work this postseason and deserves all the praise. I can't wait to watch him bring the pain to the Lastros.

The thing about Harper is that he has the talent of a deity but the grind of a peasant. He could easily coast, but he actively chooses not to.

One of the coolest things about Harper is how focused he is during every bat. His takes, how he protects the plate and what I think would have to be knowledge of other pitchers is incredible. Like how he set up the homer. Go fightins !!!

Not often that a superstar has the combined grit of David Eckstein, Dustin Pedroia and Pete Rose. I'm really happy for him because he combines the new school flash and fun with old school grit.

As a Met fan......I can not deny the talent that Bryce Harper has. He is not someone to be underestimated.

One correction. Buster Posey was drafted in the first round (his second draft in 2008, 50th in 2005) won Rookie of Year in 2010, an MVP in 2012, and not one but three World Series in 2010, 2012, and 2014). So Harper is at most the second to have done so. But that doesn’t take away from his greatness, just confirms it.

I wasn't a big fan of Harper in the beginning but he has definitely grown on me the last year or so! He's such an intense and dynamic player!

It's so great seeing Harper get the respect and recognition he's always deserved, him and Machado will be hall of famers when it's all said and done but people always say things like overrated and not that good about them and it's always bothered me

I have known how baseball works as a game for a long time since I played little league when I was a kid. this was the first season I have been keeping up with on a day to day basis. Learning about all the stars, all the villains, I love all of it. I never understood why everyone hated Harper. The guy is a real life gigachad

my boy, so grateful he came to philly. watching his at bat in the 8th i was standing there but not as nervous as i thought i'd be, then he crushed it and i started screaming. he deserves a ring, i hope the phils can get it done. i was just happy to make it to the post season finally, i had no idea we'd really be in the ws (mainly because of pitching LOL).

It'll be interesting seeing a 6th seed taking down a #1 seed in the World Series. And funny how his former team won a WS after he went to the Phillies.

I KNEW I recognised him somewhere before the recent games with the Phillies, he definitely stands out from a lot of players, and I'm glad that he's experiencing his first World Series, they should totally go for the win, they deserve it!
