Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel! This KZfaq channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf equipment reviews, golf instruction & I play against some of the best golfers in the world!
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

@derekabbotts It was a fantastic shot. No doubt. It just wasn't a 5 wood. 13.5 is barely still a 3 wood. He hits it far enough. there's no need for the silliness. He has a 60 degree lob wedge, a 55 degree sand wedge, a 50 degree gap wedge, then another 45 degree "gap" wedge, then a 40 degree pitching wedge? I actually like Bryson, but it's getting ridiculous.
@derekabbotts
@derekabbotts 4 ай бұрын
@@whocares3986 I think that's pretty much everyone on tour. All of their clubs are tweaked to their own specs. I would much rather him just say - "I am hitting a 13.5 degree wood" - rather than a "I am hitting my 5 wood." He also might as well just refer to his "irons" in terms of loft rather than the number.

💯 % BD has made me a fan for sure. This is such a better representation of their character and personality, rather than only getting to see 20 seconds of a shot and then immediately cutting to a different golfer. I fully understand why they have to cut to other golfers, but this connects me to what I'm watching so much more.

I've always enjoyed watching Bryson study, experiment with, and play golf. He does it like no one else. But this series of collaborations, on both chanels, is even better because we get all the golf and we get to see him more relaxed and having fun. This was a great format Rick, but it would have been even better if you had played all 18 holes hitting each other's drives. Not only would we have enjoyed more golf, but it would have been a great, direct hole-by-hole comparison of just how driving distance does/doesn't determine the final score.

Your content has got so good Rick, fair play. Haven’t been a follower for a long time, about 2 years when I first started playing. Thanks to your early videos with coaching tips, along side 5 lessons with the pro at my course, I’ve got down to 14 handicap and golfs consumed my life! Anyway, toward the end of the summer my wife started taking interest in golf too, coming to the range with me and hitting some balls and watching your content on a Friday evening became a ritual. Last Weds, while I was watching Liverpool in the cup semi final she went off to watch tv in bed. After the game I went upstairs at 10.30 and expected to find her asleep. Oh no, she was watching Rick Sheils v Peter Finch in a golfbidder challenge! So from me, and especially the Mrs, keep it up 😂

I have had teaching pros tell me that for most non-pros, even single digit hdcp, that if you allowed them to drop a ball 285 - 300 yds from the tee box, most would still struggle to break par. Rick kind of brought that to light. Also, Lee Trevino used to say, Drive for Show, Putt for Dough. Look at the first three holes again. Bombed Tee shots are great, but what pros do from 150 in is really what separates. Great video and I am really liking Bryson's content.

Rick, this was alsome. We watch the golf pros on TV, but never get the up close to see how they are as people. Your videos let us get to know them better. Thanks bro.

Congratulations on breaking 75! I actually really liked Bryson's thoughts on staying in your bubble to maintain focus! Definitely good advice!

I found myself smiling all the way though this! Major respect for Bryson now. I feel like I'm getting professional golf lessons on how to focus on my mental state while golfing. Number 15 second shot with the 5 wood!!!
