I think the secret here is you just have to swing in front of Bryson in person. If Bryson setup a GCquad in front of of me and said “I need you to swing faster,” you bet I’m swinging faster 😂

I’d also be willing to bet he shares some techniques off camera to help out. But in all fairness, grant probably doesn’t lack efficiency in his swing. Most of us have room for swing improvements before it turns into just “swing faster”

I think the most impressive part is that 90% of those balls went straight down the middle, while grant swung completely out of his shoes 😅 what an animal
@mariooo88
@mariooo88 4 ай бұрын
lol we don't see where the balls land. We see about 5% of the landings with a zoom in, the rest we just see the very first part of the fly, which doesn't allow us to see if it's slicing or hooking. They all look straight at first, but trust me they are not and also Grant at the end says how some of his strongest ones went straight, it clearly means the others were not.

Dude…. I just tried this in my garage (I have a launch monitor) and this has gained me a ton in 1 hour of work. A killed driver for me was like 158-160 ball speed and after trying this I got up to 167. Then went back to my normal swing and was consistently hitting 160 thinking I was swinging slow. Thanks so much for this video!!!

Bryson’s swing coaching is kind of funny but it makes sense. As a former baseball player, when you have a smoother swing you don’t feel like you’re swinging as hard, but then you end up hitting the ball a lot harder than you thought. Crazy how opposite the mind and body work sometimes. Great video Grant!

Love this, sooo many golf lessons are far too technical, I was in the same place, having lessons and my shots were getting shorter and shorter, definitely a case of paralysis by analysis, I stopped the lessons and concentrated far more on throwing the club head at the ball with much looser wrists so the swing feels far more relaxed and the ball speed is FAR higher, with this approach it's far easier to "feel" the shot and easier to generate more speed...Ok I'm 62 years old but my drives have gained over 30 yards, still only 250 yards... Only another 100 yards t go! Great video and love watching.

Grant, that was so awesome. One of the straightest and most consistent drivers of the game just gained about 15 yards. I can't wait to see Garrett's face when you outdrive him on Feb. 7. Everyone remember the episode at Bryson's garage with Martin Longdriver Borgmeier on Bubbie to reach 200. It took a lot of swings and pushing from Martin but Bubbie hit 200!!!

I love Bryson and speed training is the bomb, it's made a huge difference in my game. I think you can train more effectively for CNS / neurological impact than this though. The book "Peak" talks about this, instead of every swing being fail, fail, fail, you want to set a target where you are continuously about 50/50 to get a "good" result. Good luck!
