Finally got some dry laps in at NJMP Thunderbolt after waiting all day for the track to dry up! Lots of mistakes made and plenty of things to learn, but happy with how this session went.

I think somewhere in between on the voice vs text. I like to hear what the car is doing but I do like some commentary as well. I get my 2023 Limited tomorrow and your videos have been keeping me occupied while I've been waiting months for it. Really like your track vids!

I like etown but the bumpy road surface kills me. I might be back at some point this year to test out my new coilovers to see how well they cope with it

@@dadhats my e36 is very similar to a nd 2.0 Miata, just a smidge faster. Wish I could have a track-day and duke it out with your brz:) but there is a small pond in between us ;)

It looks like you could brake a tad later and trail brake a bit more aggressively. Maybe a case of rotation timidity? Sometimes 'track mode' is a good way of exploring that with more confidence before you completely hang it out. Just a thought! Edit: you did explore a bit more towards the end!

We were at Lightning the day Mass Tuning was at T-Bolt. It was cold as, wet as, hard to drive as. The second day was much better when we switched onto Thunderbolt.

@@FujiboHeavy I previously liked Lightning much better than Thunderbolt but now I’m not sure after my 3rd event at T-bolt and learning to trail brake into T5, T7, T8 helps that entire string through T12 feel more like a string rather than separate turns. Before I would brake straight, turn, accelerate and I couldn’t carry momentum.
