Elissa is one of those skaters who I would watch anything that she puts out. So cool to see her just glowing in this!

Talking about post-career, I think having a board is about the legacy that a person brought to skateboarding. Clearly Tommy Guerrero is an icon of street skating, so there should always be a place for his iconic pro model, and he should get royalties on sales for the rest of his life for his contributions to skating. Elissa is/was a heavy pioneer for women's skating, so she should be equally compensated for the rest of her life. Even if it's just enough to go out to eat at your favorite restaurant once a week, that's something. I'd personally like to ride a modern street shape with a name that I deeply respect, so it would be cool to be able to buy boards from a company I respect with a classic graphic of one of my idols. Make it happen, people. I'm 42, I still like to grind curbs and do manuals at the 9pm Wednesday oldster sesh, but I don't know who half the pros are these days. I'd be much happier riding a modern board shape with some of my money going to Elissa Steamer or another name that I respect.

I'm from her hometown Fort Myers, and its absolutely amazing that the most legendary female skateboarder is from this town. Its so far away from any real industry and the spots here are super scarce. Fort Myers is so proud of her for being the individual she is for real.

I was a kid in small town rural Canada with your board TG Ripping quoting animal chin playing in bands....now I’ve been working for 20 full tim in music and producer in London / travelled the world through art and still feel so connected to skating as source of my early identification. it’s amazing to see we still have so much in common as we all did it seems through skating ....way to go and congratulations with your music Tommy. this episode really hit home for me. so inspiring to see elissa get sober and healthy. Me being from hawaii being a better surfer than sk8er, its cool to see her try ride a different board discipline. Hope your back gets better Tommy, i just came back from the doctor today with results of my MRI (turned out i DIDN’T have a herniated disc) so i immediately hit the local sk8 park old man status.
