Omg, this is so perfect! I really appreciate how you showed that last vid, with Mori explicitly physically abusing Dazai (training him) so the others (at least Akutagawa) might realize that Dazai was nicer than Mori to his apprentice (aka He could’ve done worse to Akutagawa) A personal hc of mine is that while Mori gave Dazai scars with his training, Dazai rarely, if ever, did anything that Akutagawa would be unable to endure or overcome without scars.

If this were to be canon, when you think about it, that means the abuse is kind of like energy in a food chain. It loses energy, or, in this case, severity as you go farther away from the original source of the energy/abuse. We can guess this because we never see Aku hurting Kyoka severely. This just freaks me out a bit
