However, there were some slightly confusing plot lines, and a few things that the playerbase may have missed in watching them.
This video goes through all of the episodes and explains the story along with some questions asked at the end that still remain unanswered.

Some innacuracies I noticed in your video: 1) Fight in 2nd ep. took place in dorms (not shoreline resort), 3rd ep. begins in library. 2) "Gorka" is actually temporary "nickname" (I'm not sure if it is a correct word) for radio messaging and it means "hill" in russian that connects us to a plase of trade with Skif.

black division is from bsg first game. im sure at first it was dorms. but it was to big so yeah shoreline fit better. also factory will get bigger in the next few updates. the series just showed us more areas. also yeah skier probably took the area once the series is over. i kinda missed that :D nice notice. u also didnt notice the big map that was displayed for the new map terminal.

120mm is probably referred to the 120mm mortar, not to the cannon. It's a bigass mortar that can be put on wheels to roll it around.

This is what I was going to say and is most certainly what they were taking fire from. Blast radius for a 120mm mortar is pretty close to the same as the radius of a 155mm howitzer because the explosive load is close to the same since the shell of the round is thinner on a mortar round than an artillery round since the initial velocity is substantially lower.

On top of that a 120mm mortar would make a much bigger explosion and sound, they were most likely shooting 82mm mortars (which is commonly used in Russia) most likely the ones you see on maps like reserve and what not

Gorka was just the callname of one sniper that Mike takes out first when Skif is giving him directions with a nightvision. You can later hear his friends ironically referreing to Gorka as Chris Kyle (the famous sniper)

I was frankly impressed with the accurate way that they showed the use of a spent 12.7x108mm cartridge as a charging handle on the M38/46 DSHK heavy machine gun that was engaging both our pmc buddies and the black division troops.

@@Onepeg That'a mislead in translation. In Russian language we have phrase "in region" - в районе, which means that is somewhere near or somewhere in that location. So truly its "Somewhere in Factory territory", cause PolyChim is the name of the Factory

@@roguepunk5156 can confirm, i work on the Spanish subs of this series, there are some mistakes on translation and changes, some times to provide e better understanding of the situation, a good example of this is the Russian radio chat in the last episode when the siege begins.

So the reason why I said it was more similar to the shoreline resort was because of the skyway. They had been fighting in a corridor that was very similar to the 2nd floor walk that connected both wings, but yeah I can see that for sure.

Also, Skif and Mike aren't hit with mortar fire as they charge the HMG nest. It's actually one of the 4 remaining Black Fox Operatives that leans out and uses a launcher to first eliminate the HMG nest and then to hit Skif and Mike's position. If you rewatch episode 5 you will see the 4th remaining member of BlackFox crouch lean with his launcher, just before the two positions are hit. This allows BlackFox to stroll up casually and recover the case in the aftermath and eliminate Skif. Skif was mortally wounded, he was going to die even if he wasn't executed. If he thought he had any chance of surviving, he could have tried to play dead. Instead, we see him search for answers before his demise.

Until then we can all appreciate the work the fine folks at "JustEmuTarkov" have done and gave us what we always wanted, since Nikita is too busy doing his Music, his, admittedly cool films and the 80th Ak variant for the game, while telling half the potential player base (or more) to fuck off, he wants to make a game only full time streamers can enjoy and call it realistic. Google Just Emu Tarkov and flip that bsg bullshit the bird man.

Mike was the only one who didn’t shoot the civilians. In the footage he was adamantly guarding the door and refused to turn around even when the British USEC told him to turn around.

I watched them all for the very first time as soon as the finale came out. Boy are they good, some of the best fight scenes and just immersion.

honestly those gunfight scenes feel like they actually shot up the stage with real guns and then edited the actors in with a greenscreen, everything felt like it had impact, also the way the characters were handling the firearms was really good and their overall movement felt real (pretty sure that most of them were ex army or special forces)

Meh, the RAID series was fucking awesome but there's a lot of shitty Russian movies. For example, the Stalingrad remake was pretty awful compared to the original German movie.

Disturbing thing is that the lore ends there... we know the bad guys win, but I would have loved some 30secs of international conferences or worlds medias reporting further events closing the all intrigue within tarkov itself, and leading to more bigger scale consequences in the world. But except that, it was amazing ! 👌❤️

If I had to nitpick, the only issue I had was the terrible localisation of the dialogue. Yes I'm aware it's a Russian series and we shouldn't expect everything to be in English, but it wouldn't have taken long to tidy up the translations and Mike's dialogue. Aside from that, it was a fantastic series, here's to hoping the negotiations with the production companies went well so we can get a full series of The Raid.

Well, Огрызко,which is Russian name of the trader is fine as of current event, he is a main trading partner of the Predator, who is the protagonist of on-going Tarkov books. In books he has a lot of contacts with a lot of factions, including Bears, Usecs, some major scav groups etc... In books he is a more-or-less nice guy overall, at least towards the Predator, due to how beneficial their relationship is, but he was shown to be cold-blooded towards mercs due to how "destroctive to evereone around" they usually are

There's a lot of people in the community speculating that that group in black that took the case at the end of Episode 5 likely wasn't USEC, they're likely part of a third PMC faction referred to as "The Black Unit" in Contract Wars.

Thanks for your work, I understood the plot of the Raid on my own, but it's always interesting to listen to someone else's thoughts on the subject. The only thing I'd like to clarify is that there's no character of any significance named the Guide. It's just the callsign of the soldier/officer who met Skif and Mike inside the checkpoint. His task, apparently, is to escort ('guide') any visitors getting out of Tarkov to the outbound ship. You can hear him calling Checkpoint 10 ("CP 10") on the radio ("Post 10 to the Guide, moving to you, how copy").

skier says that peacekeaper is scarier than him in the friend from the west 1 which could maybe be seen as something resembling a power difference in the traders(?) maybe something like peacekeeper on the top of the food chain who has other traders, maybe mechanic and seemingly skier as previously mentioned as something like friends, contacts, or allies of some kind. also it seems that skier is also trying to sabotage therapist's rescue efforts for the civilians of tarkov, so maybe 2 warring "factions" with the rest of the traders as kind of neutrals?

oh damn they should make that into an actual quest in tarkov. so go in with your pmc without a secure container and you have to go into labs and grab one from there and extract with it and then choose which trader to give it to peacekeeper, doc lady or whatever. that would be a neat quest.

When he says 120mm he reffers to the mortars, howitzers are too unwieldy for special forces like spetznaz or seals, if they have any fire support of thier own its ussualy mortars if that.

Once they get into the port the Terragroup guys take the hardcase from them. Then suddenly after they get hit with mortar fire, Mike and his Bear buddy have the case again? Which is then taken by the guys in black. We can't assume those guys work for Terragroup, since Terragroup took the case when they got in the port. This is some other weird rogue faction.

Thx 4 the great explanation, but still have 1 question: What the heck happened to the guy at the beginning who disappeared after Skif (I think) put 2 shots in him? I thought he might have been a subject of the Terragroup experiments, but never heard anything else that supports that theory. Just a really tough guy?

Skif simply did not mortally wound the scav, and also, when it had to be finished off, shoot the corpse of the USEC. When everyone was distracted, scav escaped.

My biggest gripe, is why would TerraGroup send in an army of Scavs, and Black Division, when they already had access to CCP? Why waste resources on an attack when you could of easily gotten access to silently before Skiff and Mike were able to exfil? Is TerraGroup truely the bad guy? or is this situation still being influenced by a very powerful yet unknown enemy? Food for thought.

More then likely these were some abandoned technicians for TG that are working with the Russian government for immunity and protection during the entire situation and rigged the card scanners to work with anything from TG so people can prove they have evidence the Russian government is looking for and be rewarded with getting out of Tarkov for assisting the investigation. Dude, you got the last episode so wrong. Gorka was the callsign of sniper position that Mike killed. Ogryzoks people immediately before being killed say that "what if our plqn to trick him failed"

when I heard "the guide" in episode 5 I started thinking about the task, I thought of Peacekeeper since Skier and Peacekeeper are friends. the story only solidified what we already knew and only added more questions. BSGs series is better than any show or movie I can think of in the last 5 years sad it's over but makes the game even better-knowing terra group is our enemy and we all need to work as 1 to end the evil.

Maybe bsg will create another series, maybe following blackfox and the other USEC pmcs as they either try to extract the case or on another mission, or maybe other teams, or by some miracle Skif survived bullets to the chest, shrapnel to the legs, arms and torso 😂

10:24 BEAR didn't lock down the border. the Russian Army did, the guys inside the base are the RUAF, not Bear PMC. despite not being in the game yet there are other factions other than the PMCs, namely the Russian Army and UNTAR, both securing borders

Terra group seems to have taken a hit on the highers up, maybe internal fights? With the chain of command broke, directors would try to kill each other for the whole company. What if blackfox is a raider hired by one of the corpos to retrieve intel?

It’s actually a possible new faction known as the Black Division. It’s from Contract Wars. It’s an elite (ai presumably) pmc group that are the absolute best of the best.

trades in dollars only. o really. what gave it away he isnt in cahoots with bear. i mostly hate shit he sells. except for only 1 gun. the m9a3 because i used it myself many times. so im used to counting bullets. and also the sights. i hate him because i mostly fired russian guns. like ak. and even the ppsh41.

I had hoped for the raid series to set the stage for the game... basically leading to the bear finding a shitty old bunker hideout, beeing left with allmost nothing and starting to work for the traiders to slowly work his way out of tarkov. This end is kind of unceremoniously, but i guess it just plays even further into realism. In real life good guys often dont make it either. Raid is an awesome series... just to short
