I had a short ride from Kitwe to Chingola on their Marcopolo G6.

Looks like nice transport your using. But I'm still a fan of Zambia having a first class rail network. Imagine how much traffic could be relieved from the roads. Win win for everyone.

The rail network is massively relevant on many levels. It definitely would be a win win for everybody.

Part of the money of the first Eurobond about 5 years ago was directed to Zambia Railways for track rehabilitation and so on. Not sure how that money was used. We hope the new govt can seriously get the rail system back to thriving.
