For this workflow, I'm using the "Create Surface" function. You don't technically need to do that as you can see if you look closely in the video. However, this shows how to do the boolean operation all inside BSP without the need for export. And creating a surface is a good function to know/understand. And I think it's also faster than individually selecting for the boolean subtraction. Personal preference, I suppose.
