All new BSY4 videos will be uploaded every Sunday and Thursday.
And just when we thought it couldn't be done! The first hour of sitting our blind and we had more close antelope interaction than the whole hunt! Thank you for sticking with us! This is definitely one of our hunts that we are going to try and do every year.

Its been my experience over the last 40 hunting seasons that the majority of hunters are selfish idiots who have no respect for other hunters or the game laws. Thats why its so important to find good like minded friends that you can hunt with. Maybe not a popular opinion but its what Ive seen from 4 decades of hunting and over 20 years of duck guiding. Good on you HUSH crew, always great, honest content.

Maybe in addition to leaving a note with your name and zip code, leaving a note of when you’re planning on hunting in that blind would be helpful! If I had a blind set up on a good water source, I wouldn’t expect nobody else to ever hunt it. I think there’s way that we as hunters could be a little more respectful to each other since we are hunting public land.

That was freaking crazy! I know they are fragile animals but wow! I would not hunt from someone else's blind, but that's just me. I've never hunted over water or in a blind. But I think with speed goats one would almost have too. Great job Casey!

Congratulations Casey, that was intense! I would never personally sit another hunters blind/stand because I did have someone do that with a blind I made for elk one year and I didn't think that was cool. On the other side of the coin, I do know some people that set up multiple blinds and stands to keep others out of an area and never hunt them, equally not cool. There are all kinds out there, thank you for keeping it ethical and real.

If someone puts a blind over a water hole in arid country, on public land, I would consider it foolish to not expect other people to use it. That being said, if it were mine, I would leave a number to call me and ask or tell me that you are using it, as a courtesy. What would the difference be if someone set up a blind right beside it? There are many more hunters than water holes and archery hunting speed goats requires any advantage possible! I completely understand not wanting to be "that guy" who is sitting in another man's blind though! Great hunt Casey! #PowerOfHush

My theory is it's better for everyone to share the same blind than have 100 blinds around every water source because people feel wrong using someone else's. You should only have one group per water hole anyways so might as well be first come first serve every sit not someone locking up a water source for the whole season. But that's just me trying to think of the best scenario for everyone.

For the most part I think (real) hunters are pretty ethical and even though yes, it is “legal” probably wouldn’t mess with your blind. I know I wouldn’t, but just like anything else, there are those who feel they are entitled to anything everything just because the “can.” And people, if you are going to use someone else’s stuff. For hell sakes leave it the way you found it. Holy balls! I guess I should have waited until the end to comment!! 😳😳 nice work! Awesome camera work Logan!! Holy shit!😂

putting a blind on public property at a known water source is kinda unfair for anyone else who would like to hunt that water so if you arnt there I feel like it is fair to let others use it Catch 22 really on one hand it’s not yours so don’t touch it but on the other hand to set a blind on water and take that spot away from others kinda sucks too

It's been a year, and it's archery Antelope season again here in Idaho... to those who say that sitting in someone else's blind is taboo, unethical, etc... you need to know a few things. 1. Idaho's laws are not the same as other states. BLM specifically states that any blind left on those federal public lands are open to anyone who wants to use them. Locks are specifically not allowed because of this reason. 2. If you don't want someone using "your" blind, then use a portable blind that you take with you after every use. 3. The vast majority of the public land blinds in Idaho are plywood box blinds. They get constructed on a water hole 10 days prior to the hunt, and are supposed to be removed within 7 days after the hunt. Some hunters will leave a portable popup style blind multiple days, but they do so at the risk that someone will walk off with their blind. 4. There is a growing problem with unethical hunters placing wooden blinds on multiple water holes as a method to restrict other hunters from accessing or being near "their" spots. 5. Hunting pressure is increasing in idaho at an unprecedented rate. If hunters can't find ways to more equitably share limited resources like water holes, then management agencies like IDFG will make laws that will do it for us. If you are one of those who says they will forceably remove someone from "your" public land blind... then you are the problem, and it will be because of your attitude that IDFG will ultimately be forced to ban the use of anything other than portable blinds that are taken down and removed each day. If you say it's unethical to sit in someone else's blm blind, just know that you are your own worst enemy... and eventually you will lose the privilege to have the blind altogether. 6. Hunters should be proactive in sharing public land resources if we want to protect the privilege of using blinds on public lands, then we should get beyond this. Most box blinds left on BLM where I hunt are only used 4-5 days out of the 45 days they are up. It would be inequitable for other hunters to be denied access to that particular water hole for the other 25 days of the hunt. Instead, we as hunters should come up with a uniform way to identify our blinds as "in use" or not, perhaps a small square of hunter orange on the blind that can be seen from a mile or two away with binos or spotter. This would help prevent those situations where another hunter sneaks in on some antelope, and inadvertently pushes them off of someone in a blind nearby. We should also adopt the practice of putting information in the blind, to tell other hunters when you plan to be there, and let them know they are welcome to hunt the blind when you are not planning to be there. This could help with some of the situations where the original Placer of the blind shows up ready for a hunt, only to find another hunter already there. Even though it is public land, most hunters are polite enough that if they knew you were planning on being there that day... they would have chosen to go elsewhere. It would be polite to even go so far as to provide additional information to other future users of the blind, like what info you have gathered from your game camera... volunteering to do these types of behaviors with your PUBLIC LAND blind will help protect our future and ability to hunt these areas.

I would never sit someone else's set up, unless given permission to. Used to do similar up north of Craig Colorado. However, we'd also put on the paper when we'd be using it. People used to respect that, but in the last few yrs it's become more cutthroat, people take down your blind, maybe steal yours after they used it. Not what it used to be, why we've not gone back in yrs.
