From 1945 to 1994, the French armed forces were present in Berlin and left their mark on the French sector. At the places where the events took place, we meet contemporary witnesses who report on their experiences in divided Berlin - especially in Tegel, Wedding and Reinickendorf. The tour starts and ends in the Julius-Leber barracks, the former Quarter Napoléon. The viewer gets to know the residential area, the former training areas of the French, the officers' home, the administrative network in the district and the cultural institutions.
