Imo, in general, everything, including sends and towers, is way more powerful than in battles 1, and it kind of messes up the flow of the game. I would personally like to see more nerfs across the board. Nerf all the meta towers until it’s balanced, nerf sends to match that, and nerf early game towers to make early game more interesting.

@@sagittariusa2145 The problem with having bloon sends that are so strong, and towers that are so strong, is that everybody is basically way over defending at all times, because even small grouped rushes are insane, and there's not as much reward in maximum greed in the earlier rounds. Then you get boring early game where there's no point in rushing, and the games just go to bads every time. It makes the game very boring. Compare that to battles one where you have to greed a lot to have a good mid/ late game, and bloon sends are so much weaker that it's actually meta to under defend as much as possible to get extra greed, meaning bloon rushes are way more viable, and early game is much more interesting. If you just buff bloon rushes in battles 2 (like a lot of people are calling for), it will just make over defending more viable, and people will turtle more. This as part of the reason why battles 1 is just a better competitive game than battles 2 as it stands, imo.

Tbh it's gonna be extremely hard to make the expensive towers worth it in battles. The game has a natural timer on it that ends as soon as either of you cannot defend something, and this usually comes before you can reasonably afford said expensive tower. Not to mention the fact that you likely also want to rush late game which takes a sizeable chunk of money away. No matter how good they are, you really have to ask if they are even worth it for how late you are forced to get them.

I was actually able to use Legend of the Night pretty effectively in battles. My loadout is Ace,Farm, and Super. I remember defending two fortified BADS because I was making so much money that I was able to get LOTN in time to save my ass. The fact that it no longer has no initial cooldown makes it kind of helpful and even a lifesaver.

For the same price as a LotN, you can buy three Dark Champions and a 401 alchemist on easy mode (although that probably scales to all three modes. I tested it a while back, and the three Dark Champions are far more damaging and versatile in most situations compared to a single LotN. In BTD6 that is

@@codyowings9895 an un-buffed 520 super mines can solo 20 r100 fbads. Is this not reason enough to justify the cost? Edit: a simple 420 alch, a 200 village, and an overclock, and the super mines can destroy up to 100 fbads Edit 2: my data was collected on btd6 not btdb2. Many things will be different but my point still stands, super mines is pretty decent for it's cost.

Mind if I add a few extra ones to counter the farming aspect against player-sent Bloon rushes? • Increase trap capacity. • Decrease income from trap. • Extend duration between trap deploys. This way it can still serve its purpose of countering rushes, but it's not as effective as a farm in the long-term.

Unfortunately, unless someone were to outright mod the game stats themselves and test it to see if it worked, the only way of knowing if the theory stands up is if it is implemented... Which is probably not likely.

he said 2 seconds later that the people going against engi don't want engi buffs, which is true. Engi sucks to play against especially if you're going pure eco, but even with alt eco, still sucks to play regardless of it being overpowered or underpowered.

They're actually, it's just overshadowed with the BTD 6 famous Metas

even though super mines is super cool and extremely powerful, it causes a lot of lag, which is a big problem for super late game. and getting it before round 100 is totally overkill. you could spend that money on an apache prime and a perma spike with buffs which is all you need for most maps. so as much as i love super mines, i understand why theyre not used very often.

Super minesisnt made for single target damage. Thats what middle path is for. Super mineS spike StorM

Smart Targeting is usually the best choice considering what the bottom path is going for, but choosing the other ones can be beneficial at times, too. In this case, they didn't want to waste spikes on Dino Graveyard to the BAD layer since they have a massive hitbox and can absorb spikes on the other side of the track.

It's expensive but maybe it's to strong.
