Can You Really Beat CHIMPS In Under 5 MINUTES? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - several years back I used a race mod to attempt CHIMPS mode and posted a personal best of 6:04, but with the release of some good heroes (Sauda, Geraldo) and years of balance changes I decided to go back and see how low I could go now!
Thanks to Minecool for the race mod!

With just a couple of changes, sub 4 looks very much doable! And note some balance changes from this update (elim) and bugs (concoction) would blow this out of the water... For comparison check out the CHIMPS race I did from years ago: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rKejn5B3m7W1cY0.html

Geraldo is definitely power creeped. I can't think of another hero that can solo chimps bar 30 pops from leads.

that shouldn't really be how you measure a hero's strength, unlike other heroes which are specialized, Geraldo has an item for every situation, and over the course of a Geraldo 2TC run you spend a lot more money on him than you'd do with any other hero, that's just how he's meant to be played. He is a strong hero but measuring viability by 2TC in this case isn't the right way to go about it

@@pipsapossu1699 , because he also cost every penny you made. Really, the nerfed state currently is pretty fair by not allowing it all come from him alone, but he didn't make it any easier than just using the right towers at first.

Video idea: least pops or least cash generated chimps. Let me explain: use insta-kills such as bma to make the cash amount the smallest possible or use for example special poperations that disappears after a while to get pops so that it technically doesn't count to pops because it disappeared

Bloon send instead of waiting for rounds should honestly be the standard way to play BTD6.

It should be a normally-accessible alternate mode. I don't think it should be the main way to play because it takes a bit away from trying to craft what's specifically on each round vs the available resources etc, and also anything that works against people with 0 attention span or patience is inherently a good thing 😏

There isn't any RNG. The only "RNG" is your inability to consistently time round sends or tower placements. It might as well be RNG if you can't be consistent enough, but that doesn't mean it IS RNG.
