Quite pleased with my 2020 LG CX that has now passed 12,000 hours. Not one issue throughout all those hours. Really appreciate how LG is constantly updates its tv’s. Just awesome support! Got it paired with the S95QR which does its job very well. Pairs wonderfully. Find I am using voice pro for heavy dialogue movies but have also used base boost for some heavy action movies and it does its job very well too. Intend on buying a new LG C4 while my daughter walks away with the CX for use with her family. She has watched the CX with her family when she visits and would take it off the wall now - but I am holding her off while I wait for black friday / christmas pricing.

Sorry if this is off topic- I'm looking to possibly upgrade to a 98" TV this year from my 83" A90J. Are you guys going to be able to get your hands on the TCL 98QM851G (2024) to review? At $5K it is thousands less than the Sony 98" X90. I love Sony's processing but with the significant price difference I'm trying to find out as much info on the TCL that I can. You guys seem to be the only content creator that normally reviews TV at this size. Keep up the good work!! Thanks, Gerry

Greets, B. Thanks for the overview of the new LG soundbars. Several months ago, I added an LG S90QY sound bar to my 2022 QNED85. To my pleasant surprise, I have WOW! Orchestra too, and I really like the fuller soundstage it gives me. The S90QY is 5.1.3 and makes movies decently immersive. Maybe someday I will go an S95. If you have an LG TV it is worthwhile to go with an LG soundbar.

Is it really workable through wowcast wireless? Just purchased the new Oled M4 with no zero connect box, means no hdmi socket on the TV. Can it work wirelessly?

How flush to the wall should the sound bar be? Got the new S80TR from BBY open box and had to get the mount second hand from LG parts but the bracket leaves an inch separation between the wall and the back of the sound bar. Is this normal, or did they just recommend a mount that “fits” but is not perfect, like the one that would come in the box?

Are you able to check if the WOW orchestra down sample DTS:X to lossy? I have a C4 combined with the previous flagship bar S95QR and I can only get DTS-HD MA DTS:X by not using the WOW Orchestra option. Soundbar is connected to EARC.

I have the S95TR soundbar set up that I use with LG G4 television. I am very disappointed with the sound quality produced by this soundbar. There is a void in the soundstage between the bass that the soundbar can produce and the bass level where the sub woofer comes in. This results in an unbalaned often high-pitched shrill sound which is hard on the ears when listening to at volume. A lot of the time the sub woofer sits not really doing much, hardly working. I have tried recalibration and adjustments but nothing has changed. The wow orchestra feature that uses the TV speakers in conjunction with the soundbar is little more than marketing hype. TV speakers with their mediocre performance are still just that, they do not get miracously transformed into next level speakers by wow orchestra. It is utterly useless for listening to music, remember this is marketed as the music afficionados soundbar. Based on my experience with this soundbar I would not recommend it, especially at its price point. I expect more, a lot more.

i had two lg soundbar 2 years ago and both broke after a coupole months. I would never buy a lg soundbar in the future
