A very appropriate engine swap for a MK2 GTi as the 3.6 litre VR6 motor from the Passat R36 fits nicely in the engine bay 👌👌

I am just switching over to learning manual. Also, I turned ABS off but I was wondering if I should just leave it on?

I would recommend keeping it off and trying to adapt, it’ll help you learn how to modulate the brake trigger instead of just mashing it

Forza doesn't really reward you for using abs off so there's not much point for this game.

After having the same question, and with a little research, I decided to keep it on. However, do not use 100% brake pressure all the time in a curve. Instead, try gradually applying the brakes, and you will achieve better results.

In the new FM, ABS is not nearly as inhibiting as it once was. I would suggest trying no ABS but don’t be afraid to use ABS if you can’t get used to driving without it!

Thanks all. I will mess around with it. I got a controller and it seems to have decent trigger accuracy, so I'll try and learn with ABS off for a few weeks and see if I can get it down.
