BTS made a promise 8 years ago to stand up for the youth, be their bulletproof vest, be their voice, be their support through the highs and the lows. They’ve upheld this promise in so many different ways over the last 8 years. Today was a very significant example of that. BTS went above and beyond for making songs to give hope for people during the pandemic. The fact that they’re using the same song that had that specific message to spread it even further from a world respected podium? *goosebumps*. BTS put their words into actions every single day. I am so proud of them and i am so proud of calling myself a fan of them. I love them more than anything else in the world.

Another historic moment with BTS .. The 7 nickel plated doors BTS exited from were donated by the Canadian Govt. On each door are 4 panels symbolizing Peace, Justice, Truth & Fraternity. It was serendipitous that BTS came out from those doors. Am so proud of them and to be an ARMY 💪🙌❤

I love that Jungkook never stopped being himself. He always did what he wanted to do. Got tattoos and piercing despite his country seeing them as wrong/taboo and look at him now, representing S.Korea at UN and giving a speech in front of world leaders. The biggest flex. his vocals and performance is always outstanding and topnotch. the way he glows, he is the finest man.

Exactly ..Even the toe socks in Korea are very criticized and they say they are ugly.. Jungkook was attacked before because he wore them in the 97 Pajama Run episode, but he didn't care and said he felt comfortable and wore them in bts in the Soop ... And now it's a popular topic in Korea ..After the live broadcast And they say it's cut.... I am proud of him .. I love him more and more .. He chose to always be a real person despite the pressures of society I love him as he is and I hope he will always be happy 💜🙏🏻

Uthman is me yesterday... i was so nervous and went to the bathroom couple of time... why am I nervous? Because I'm overwhelmed beyond the universe. i'm damned proud even though I only watched them from UN youtube channel. I imagined their parents feeling, their relatives, their friends, their neighbourhood.. about a young boy that used to running around their neighbourhood, greeting them with that innocent and wide smile, perhaps just a boy that they used to worry about their uncertain future which is now clear and brighter. I imagined how proud their teachers. For the boys that used to sit in quietly in the class, with some quite interesting family background. But mostly, above all, I can feel how proud Bang PD and the Big Hit (now Hybe) for followed their intuition to choose these seven boys from unique aura in their own ways. The universe is already has a plan all along for them. The doors at the UN's building are seven, everything around them are seven. Not more... not less. It is already ready made for them. It is waiting for them for centuries. Everything fit into their footsteps, into their move, into their destiny and more beautiful constellation will be created by them. They are the precious creation ever on earth to change the new world into a better place. And yes. Thank you Hybe and N.O era ARMY for all of this. 💜🥰

I love how moved you were by President Moon's speech. My impression is that he's down to earth and practical, a let's-get-it-done kind of leader like New Zealand's Jacinda Ardern, not like so many other leaders who seem more keen on playing the political game. Also, your ear-to-ear grins at 08:55 are so perfect and adorable (!) and relatable. That's the BTS effect and that's why they're so perfect for this role as representatives of hope for a brighter future.

They are not lost, they are finding new courage and taking on new challenges" I have tears in my eyes cuz this is the most comforting thing ever. Ever since the pandemic started jimin has been worried about how the kids would deal with it & now we see him praising them for their courage to learn new things during such time….he’s just naturally such a kind & caring person with the biggest heart ever. I was nervous all morning and I wasn't even the one giving the speech. I don't know much of President Moon's background but his speech was well put and well said. He came to the UN prepared to inspire the world of what to look forward to. BTS on the other hand spoke from their hearts as well as Armys hearts. I feel safe knowing the "Welcome Generation" will protect us and lead the world to a better future. That performance was phenomenal. From the vocals to the suits to the scenery. Chef's kiss!

I hope you got a chance to look at the pictures from this day too. On top of that, BTS went to the Met Museum with the First Lady of South Korea to look at the Korean collection or artisans and artists collected at the museum. It was so cool to see them continue their role as cultural envoys alongside their first lady so far from home. Namjoon also gave a speech there and they went on a tour.

Jungkook is really an inspiration as they all are, but here I would say something about Jungkook that in South Korea Tattoos were banned but when Jungkook did it, he inspired many people including politicians also to talk against the stereotype in their nation & they demanded for legalization of Tattoos. So he has inspired many people to change their thought process & stand up for the right. In fact he has helped some small brands also to grow up even to open their first ever physical stores. So he has always been very special just as all members are. Really proud of him & all of them

Oh i really wanted you to watch the engsub version with their real voices, the aura and sincerity felt is really different...😢 Anyways glad to see this. Bts could use their fame for so many other things but they are always choosing to use it to change the world. It was better to hear what they were saying in English first so that the next time you have an opportunity to hear them speak in Korean and see them without looking at the words…the wording went so fast. They all are excellent speakers.

the president they keep addressing is the current president of the UN General Assembly for the 2021 meeting, Abdullah Shahid from the Maldives. the secretary general of the United Nations is Antonio Guterres. bts spoke at the virtual meeting for the Sustainable Development Goals, before the actual General Assembly meeting, which began today. that's why the room was not filled.

It was so cool, I actually managed to watch it live. Was so proud of BTS! The performance was awesome. I was nervous about it, but it was well done. I too was disappointed that you couldn't hear them speaking Korean, but there is a recording with them speaking in Korean and subtitles that I found somewhere on YT, sorry, I didn't save the link. P.S. there's an interview with the President and BTS on the UN channel that you might want to watch as well.

President Moon had a powerful speech and its very very inspiring already then, BTS came and shared their personal hardships acknowledging their feelings but able to work on themselves for the better since they are no different from us They are clearly advocating for the youth by saying they are the welcome generation. Every generations have their own challenges its not fair to give the youth today a negative connotation by calling them the lost generation I'm glad that BTS advocated and cleared that up for the many that believed it so negatively. It's hard not to feel proud of them as an ARMY myself they have constantly done the talk the talk and walk the walk by setting the example for us by also listening to their own words of wisdom and being that role model for us that's how leaders should be in this world.

pop off with the editing as per usual haha! their speech was very professional and performance was very great to watch. I could feel their energy! ot7 being great at public speaking; i could never LOOOL. every word they said was impactful. *claps* I'm sure they were nervous especially Jimin haha, but they carried it with professionalism and show us that they are human too.

bts standing up for vaccination may be the most important point of their speech. their voice has a lot of power and their actions, even more. hobi made sure to explicitly say: "OF COURSE all 7 of us got vaccinated". if you are an army who has the opportunity to get a vaccine, please do, so that we can all come together again in a safer and healthier world! 💜

When I was watching the live, I felt like watching a movie....From No more dream, to PTD....Rookies to the Presidential Envoys....I've never been this proud in my life....This speech felt like a climax scene in a motivational movie but tbh, it's just a beginning....So officially, we are appointed as the ARMYs of the Great Presidential Envoys 😌💜 I'm going to consult a doctor cuz my hairs are standing like a fool since yesterday cuz of Goosebumps😑 Borahae 💜
