Yes and another thing to add, at the end of the MV where the shoes are on the tree. Hanging shoes on the tree symbolizes someone has died and if you hang their shoes on a tree it’s supposed to help that person reach heaven a little better.🩷. BTS truly has such cinematic experience and it’s so emotional

The lyrics of this masterpiece is majorly by RM and SUGA's own interpretation and experience of the given theme "I miss you". just so u know, the lyrics themselves are about "missing a friend" based on rm & suga's personal experience with past friends (see agust d's "dear my friend" to hear more about the person from his verse) but the music video is paying tribute to the teenagers who died on a field trip in the sewol disaster.... who are missed by their classmates who survived w/ deep trauma and all of korea. a similar tragedy to the recent halloween deaths in korea, lots of young people dying just bc those in power didnt do their job properly. i will never forget watching the news coverage in 2014 on the day it happened & later watching the actual footage from the kids phones. the crew should have gotten the death penalty imo, but he only got 36 years in prison. thats less than 2 months for every person who died. im giving an explanation bc many of the newer fans dont know the lyrics =/= the mv. 🎗

All the bts songs are awesome but there are songs like jamais vu thruth untold, blue and grey, paradise, zero o'clock and many others which take u to an emotional rollercoaster that people sleep on and judge bts just relying on the title tracks.. this was what i tried to mention to the reactors.
