One of the things about Jin that I admire most but this series doesn't get into is some of the reasoning behind Jin's actions. You noticed how the other members all laugh and look a little embarrassed when Jin says that he's Worldwide Handsome, but the thing is, he says that deliberately to make the other members laugh and help them relax during interviews. He's poking fun at himself, for their sakes. He does something similar for ARMY. In the Run episodes, he will frequently do something silly or make something ridiculous just to make ARMY laugh and be more entertained. Nowadays, the others recognize what he's doing and usually find reasons to praise him without actually coming out and saying that he sacrificed his dignity for the sake of ARMY. He's a genuinely good man who just wants to make the fans happy and help his members when they're nervous or uncertain. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for Jin.

Jin said himself and the members agreed that Jin from BTS and Kim Seokjin in real life are very different. The quirkiness, loudness and dad humor are part of the stage persona - he and Jhope are the moodsetters during interviews, easing the tension when other members are stressed or shy; Jin irl is very emotionally intelligent, caring, sweet, quiet and a good listener. As for eating and food - Jin loves eating and cooking, but he recently developed an allergy to garlic and potatoes, poor baby, so he mentioned he had to leave the cooking hobby alone :( his show EatJin has helped a lot of fans to deal with eating disorders - watching Jin eat so deliciously and happily helps people with fear of food and eating along with him makes people feel less alone :3

Jin has contributed SO much to the synergy and family structure of BTS through his joyful, fun-loving public persona and his more subdued/introverted and really quite private true self. The transition from the youngest in his family to the oldest in BTS was likely a monumental change for Jin, but he figured out a way to be a really supportive and strong (though never commanding or overbearing) older brother figure to the rest of the members from pre-debut through the present. He frequently cooked for them, drove the youngest ones to school, made sure everyone had somewhere to go for the holidays on which they had off, etc. He has so much fun with them that he seems and looks eternally youthful! You’ll also come see that, through his words and actions, Jin gives an incredible amount of wisdom to the others on respect and professionalism, maintaining boundaries, helping others and giving back, fairness, work ethic, consistency, self-acceptance, and many other admirable character traits! You definitely have to take a closer look at the how and why of Jin’s words and behavior as you continue to watch more content... this goes for each member. You seem very perceptive about such things, so this shouldn’t be too challenging for you! I just really enjoy seeing the layers of depth each member has and how it contributes to Bangtan Sonyeondan as a whole. (Side note: I don’t have a bias, the subject of my admiration, focus, and attraction really depends on the day haha.) Thanks for your videos! 💜

There are no words to describe how much I love seokjin, ofc I love all of the members, but as an introvert myself I admire him so much for getting out of his comfort zone to make sure the other boys are happy and relaxed. Hes actually the shyest member and he always gets embarrassed when others compliment him. He’s one of the most hardworking people I know. Plus let’s not forget, how he would take Kook to his family dinners bc he was feeling homesick.

You can tell that Jin gets shy by looking at his ears😊, they turn red whenever he feels shy or get serious attentions from more than 2 people. Suga is the one who usually points it out a lot, ‘Your ears are getting red’, ‘His ears are getting red’, lol🤣🤣🤣💜💜

Most people see jin as funny, always laughing, everywhere joking and crazy. But the more you know about jin, the more you notice his every move, the more intelligent, caring, kind, think, deeply, emotional, and lonely person. Jin always controls his emotions and hides his sadness. The real self is always hidden to make it's member and armies smile and happy. He was the youngest in the family, but suddenly he had six younger siblings. He takes equal care of all his member. A person who dreams of becoming an actor who has no interest in singing or dancing has suddenly become an idol. But people who didn't know anything said that he couldn't sing or dance, only visual. But he never give up. He always tried all day and all night. He's very strong emotionally, but he's sad and frustrated because he's the same person. I wish i could give him a hug. He deserve more than that.🙂💜

I'm OT7. I Stan all 7 members but Jin is something special. He genuinely has a way of putting people at ease. He's 29 but he acts like he's 19. I strive to be as care free as Jin. Also he's genuinely world wide handsome. Jin has been recognised to have the world's most perfect face researched by doll designers and visual experts using face mapping technology in the male category. Anne Hathaway was the female category.😂

According to Jin he is doing Dad Jokes not because he want the people to laugh about his joke but he is happy doing that, he makes himself happy by doing that (not exactly but something like that) . (I watch it from Bon Voyage, he is telling it to RM) that's why in one speech of RM he is telling that it fells like he is using Army to love himself, so he is asking army to use BTS to love our self ( RM is telling that he get that idea from what Jin told him)

If I'm not mistaken, RM once said that Jin (or Hobi, or could be both) being funny in interviews is a great ice-breaker for the group, makes the interview less awkward. And I also remember Jin said that he saw how people responded when he's being funny and goofy - how that makes people laugh and he really enjoy making people laugh/happy and ever since that he always tried to make people laugh. That's just so wholesome. and it's especially impressive considering that Jin is actually an introvert.

My bias is V and my bias wrecker is Jin! When I find out how intriguing this man is, I gradually fall for him! I love his personality and his voice so much. He doesn’t stand out much in most BTS’ songs because he doesn’t have enough lines to shine. But when you listen to his solo and cover songs, you’ll get goosebumps! Jin devised the World Wide Handsome name himself. His dad jokes mean very little to non Korean speakers. The best one is, how does a cow laugh? Moo ha ha. He found it hard being the oldest in the group when he was the youngest in his family so has gone out of his way to cheer up his younger band brothers and be a good hyung.. He and his brother own a restaurant in Seoul and Jin is a good cook. He was the only one with a drivers licence at the beginning so he took Jungkook to school. He says he and JK both have an 8 year old mentality so they get on well. He comes across like the boy next door.

Jin's fit of anger towards the members or a situation is both scary and funny , bc most of the time the others know it is not for "real", because Jin is a softy, yet they all know it could become real and that would be a force to reckon with. wow, it is so refreshing to see someone react with pre-existing knowledge of the language. Jin with his good looks and all would be perfect if not for his little idiosyncracies and those imperfections make him perfectly adorable. Discovering the whole Bangtan muster/bon voyage etc. was the only good thing about 2020. I quite like that you're making the conscious effort to get to know each of the members individually before getting further into them as a group. Personally, as someone who had never really been into any music groups before and had no idea how to go about it, I kind of did that as I watched more and more stuff, and got to know who each of them was (name, position, etc.) starting with the members who stood out more for whatever reason. ". . . some of my preferences *filter*ing through." I know you probably didn't intend it, but well done on that very telling pun 😉 *The video, as all good compilations do, pokes fun at the others stealing his food, but one of the most endearing things (spoiler alert: there are a LOT of "most endearing things" with these guys) is him feeding the others and giving them tastes from his own plate. *What Habit #2 failed to mention is that he winks his right eye when he meets someone's eyes, but he'll wink his left eye when he's hungry! *The WWH handsome thing is wonderful of several fronts. First, it's positive reinforcement - tell yourself the truth until you believe it like you should! But it's also an ice breaker, like the dad jokes and otherwise goofiness. He puts himself out there and makes himself a point of humor for the benefit of others, to make things funny for fans and ease the tension for his members. This isn't to say that he doesn't genuinely have a fun, silly side, but he plays it up onstage. *The most tragic thing about Habit #4 is that I don't know Korean, because as someone who loves bad puns, I actually find his VERY funny when they're explained, but half the fun is always other people's reactions - Jimin, for example, always laughs really easily at them. And the sound of Jin's amusement, his windshield-wiper laugh, is universally loved and SO contagious. Conversely, his screams (whether from fright or just dramatic expression) are SO endearing. *A lesser-mentioned nickname of his is the "Rant Rapper" title. Possibly the most iconic instance yet: there was a Run BTS episode where Jin and Suga had to cook something by giving their team of two "avatars" (Jungkook and V, and Jimin and RM respectively) instructions via walkie-talkie. Aside from eating noises, it's interesting how people in different countries imitate dogs' barks and roosters' crows! Like "woof-woof" and "cock-a-doodle-doo" are not universal at all.

I don't think having a bias is bad as long as you give love and respect to all the others. I myself am a jimin bias, OT7 who used to worry abt having a bias. But now I know it's just relatability more than anything for me. I see so much of me in jimin (it's his libra sun and my libra rising, lol). So it's fine if you have a bias. Personally, I never felt your bias showing through (except for Hobi's smile, but that has a different fandom in itself😂). So don't worry abt it. Abt Jin, he is my second most relateable member as I think (he might disagree😂) he is mostly similar to jimin in personality but he is an introvert like me. So I admire and respect his personality and it hits too close to home when he shares his pain (*sob* Abyss *sob*). Also his role in the band is just irreplaceable and valuable as it is for each and every member. All 7 of them are. All of them are pillars together and without any one, they will collapse. I just can't choose a bias, it changes all the time so I guess I am OT7 and constantly get bias wrecked by a different member. They are all amazing! This was the first BTS habits video I found, like you said, BTS and their music have become my happy place during the pandemic, they make me smile everyday and have also helped by once in a while helping me cry; with their music and artistry, their kindness and openness; it's so hard being strong all the time so that has also been a great stress reliever, just a good cry to let everything out, lol 😄💜
