I also wanted to see Run BTS, but they explained that they'll make sure to do it when they return because their attitudes and burn out wouldn't have let them do a good performance for it. I'm excited for it, live version of that beat break!!!

@@lincohorn7750 I knew. But like in run BTS (the variety show, not the song) they mentioned will perform Louder Than Bombs, when knowing LTB is #1 song army want to be performed on stage. Many armys expected it on PTD stage but never happened. 😂 Haha.. it is what it is.

Fun fact: Anderson Paak is actually half Korean and his wife is Korean, that's why his Korean is not like ours😂

This have seriously became one of my favorite live performances from them EVER. Their vocals, the back up singers, the band... everything was perfect. I believe they said they want to wait until later or until they're back to perform RUN BTS because they want to really feel up for it.

I loved this performance. The song For Youth is a much more meaningful song now to me. Now let's support all the members has they go into their solo performances OT7. Knew you was waiting for Run BTS too. Just one of the things to look forward to when they comeback.

They explained it on their festa dinner. They dont want to perform run bta with this attitude. They really know that RUN BTS is a banger and deserves so much attention when they release a performance for it. Rm also slipped saying there's already a choreography for it. And they'll perform it when thwy comeback or for a concert. SPEAKING OF... I JIST REALIZED THIS WHILW TYPING. THWIR 'COMEBACK' HAVING A PERFORMANCE WILL BE THIS OCTOBER FOR THE BUSAN BID FOR THE WORLD EXPO? WILL THEY PERFORM THIS? 😍😍😍

It was an awesome performance, and the fact that they used an abandoned water park as their set backdrop, just makes so much more awesome as it ties in with their ongoing themes of sea and desert imagery they use in their music. Looking forward to their live stage for Run BTS, hope they get the rest they all need.

Every Saturday for the next 7 weeks, a member of BTS is doing a VLOG that is being downloaded on YT, this past Saturday Vlog was V, he drove around South Korea with two of BTS directors, he treated them out to Lunch and Dinner, played his music playlist while driving.

Best live performance ever 💜 They seem to enjoy so much this set with the live band and backing vocals. It was so groovy and their voices shined so bright during this live they were so clear to hear, no backup track, no effects in the voices. They improved so much. And Yet to come with Anderson Paak was an other level he added so much depth to the sound with his abilities at the drums. Live band is definitly something else, wish they could always perform with a live band even in concerts. Gorgeous performance 🥰💜

They sound so amazing in this performance! Vocally it’s one of their best performances to me. The only live performance of Run BTS to date is JK on Vlive after so many begged him. You can imagine he had trouble covering all of the parts as 1 person but he honestly did a really great job.

I don't think I have every known of a group where ALL of the members are so extraordinarily talented. This is what makes them so unbeatable when the all come together. I hope all of their single endeavors are appreciated and do well.

The Beatles? I meant there are plenty of groups where all the members are talented in their own way. I also think one doesn't end up being in a kpop group without having some ounce of talent. Now whether they can hold their own as a soloist is a different story.

Silk Sonic beat BTS out for this year's Grammy, best duo. I love the sportsmanship BTS always displays, and Paak being there is significant. BTS is always several steps ahead the rest.

Silk Sonic did win some Grammys this year but they weren't nominated in BTS category this year. Doja Cat and Sza won the grammy against BTS, not Silk Sonic. Silk Sonic's song wasn't considered a pop song that's why it wasn't nominated in the pop duo/group performance category.

Coming back to this performance weeks after they announced their break, and actually really paying attention to what they are saying with all the context of their words during the Festa Dinner that was filmed just a few weeks after this Live performance, THEN listening to and reading the lyrics of “For Youth”... ah the tears. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not crying because they’re on a break. Based on the words that came from their own mouths, they really needed this break for their own mental, emotional, and creative health. The words in “For Youth” just really hit me in the feels. Thanks for sharing your reactions!

This performance was filmed in a now-closed amusement park called Rock-A-Hoola Waterpark. It is in Southern California near the desert city of Barstow. The scenery is spooky-cool!💜

RM said during their Festa that choreography was being worked on for Run BTS and they would perform it during their next concert. And well BTS is having a global concert in Busan South Korea in October and I'm sure they will perform it then. RM said they know fans want to see it performed but they didn't feel right doing it right now with the mindset they currently have.

I know. I kept looking all Army day for a music video. That being said, there is just something about the emotion in these performances. And even though I have watched this many times, I just now heard the “promise” from RM right after JK’s “promise that we’ll keep on coming back for more.”

Thank you for playing RUN BTS at the end MCA, I looooooooove it. Loved Dionysus when Persona album came out. Love Di-ease from BE album. We will have to wait for them to come back and are ready to RUN again!! They do deserve a break and need to enjoy themselves and recharge. They have given so much, I dont know how they could keep up. They’re not going to perform Run BTS until their next comeback/concert as a group (and I’m not talking about the concert in Busan this Oct - I think that’ll just be a showcase on behalf of the bid). They said they’re not in the mental space to perform the song yet and at the time of the Festa, the choreo wasn’t finished. Closest we’ll have for a live version is on JK’s last VLive where he sings it for Army.

Word in the grapevine is in October when BTS gets together for a live performance they will do Run BTS. They couldn't on tv because the same outdated media morality which made Jungkook cover his tattoos objected to the certain lyrics in Run BTS. Sad but not having performed something which they know has been both well received and allows them to do some retro early BTS flavored material may have been part of the decision to reunite for an October performance.

Greetings Eric...! This was definitely not the venue/mood for a Run BTS performance...it needs a more 'hyped' atmosphere in front of a crowd...yes, perhaps Busan or who knows...'yet to come'...?!? On another note...I hope this isn't too 'inappropriate' but I now know you are from the 'ChiTown' area and am so very sorry for what transpired in Highland...!🙏 So close to home... yet sadly a part of American life anywhere...😢 Take care...💜

@@cindythomas108 I think they are aching to perform it having been prevented from doing so previously. They are not looking to watch this one age on the vine when it is ripe. My bet is on Busan. Yes, Highland Park is a tragedy with all too many antecedents in a dysfunctional family and a dysfunctional government bureaucracy. Can only hope the survivors find peace and government makes the necessary adjustments to minimize its recurrence wherever that may be.
