I haven't liked hip hop for about 20 years, but BTS brought me back to it. I wasn't expecting that from a Korean pop band!

I'll tell you something quick about RM ..the reason why he seems struggling with finding himself as he pronounces it is actually that at the beginning of their career all eyes were on him and people kept asking what he was..a rapper? A hip hop? A kpop ? Or what..and as he was very young back then it really affected him and also the fact that he takes all the criticism and doesn't tell the members about it...he expressed that in the song " do you " and others and he says that he really kept asking him self that question alot " what am I?" Untill a fan wrote him a letter telling him that it's okay because whatever he is he will always be an artist and he shouldn't limit or inclose himself in one term and he can simply be all of them together and that what will make him unique.... This was one of the strongest reasons he changed his name for because he felt like rap monster doesn't represent who he is anymore and preferred RM which stands for " real me" So basically in this song RM puts all these thoughts together...it's a master piece 💜💜 I really hope you see this comment,Cadz 😂🤝🏼🚶🏼‍♀️

I would recommend Voice, Awakening, Rush and Monster. His second Mixtape Mono kind of shows his more introspective side and is also just an amazing playlist in general.
