The truth untold is based on La Citta di Smeraldo. It's the story of a man who lived in a castle and kept to himself because he thought himself to be ugly. One day a woman came near his castle and picked his flowers. He was angry at first but eventually became curious and waited for her. He found out that she was actually selling those flowers for a living. The man fell in love but didn't want to show himself because he was 'too ugly' (you know that I can't show you me, give you me... and also your reaction on 9:09). So he decided to plant a flower that didn't exist on the planet so she could sell it at an expensive price. Eventually he managed to fill his garden with them but the woman stopped coming. He then learned that she died. That part where they sing 'but I still want you' is about him regretting not telling her his feelings all because he didn't love himself first. It fits so well with the 'love yourself' concept.

One day he bloomed the most unrealistic rare flower for her to come get it and see it, but she never came because she died. That’s the time he realized he fucked up, just because of him NOT LOVING HIMSELF he could’nt love other people enough. The girl came many times there but she never knew the owner cause he was hiding. So basically if he loved himself he would have met with her and things would go better and she would not probably die. i'm like a year late on this reaction lmfaooo but i just LOVE how this song is arranged. in the beginning, there are barely any instrumentals and the vocals are the main focus. throughout the song, the instrumentals slowly build up and the line "but i still want you" is repeated. however, when all the music fades out, the song ends with the line "but i still want you." this line stays true the duration of the song, and even through the build up, the explosive climax and through everything, in the end, "i still want you."
