Hi jyeoms!! Your original BST X WHISTLE mashup was the first video I ever viewed on your channel, and I must say, it well deserved the 28 million views it received!! It does sound like you have improved a lot in this version of the mashup. I don’t know if you still use Adobe Audition on your mixes, but it sounds like you’re using an even more sophisticated program now, perhaps Ableton. The vocals from BST, although pitched up, sound less tinny now and more lifelike. It sounds like you are using a formant filter option now in order to preserve the natural quality of the voices, which does make the vocals sound a bit filtered, but it’s worth it because they sound more natural now. I started making mashups about a year ago and when I listen to my first mashup, I instantly notice how much I have improved on my current works. Thank you for inspiring me to make mashups and for such quality content!! Hope that you see this and appreciate the compliments!! 🤗

Fast forward 2 years, and the mashup has now garnered more than 28 million views. (Honestly I think it was the thumbnail that people were attracted to) I have since made a lot of BTS x BP mashups which is probably the reason why many of you subscribed to my channel. Sometimes I look back at my old videos and I cringe because they sound so bad, like what was I thinking? The BST x Whistle mashup was one of them. I think I have improved my skills since then and so I decided to remake this mashup. I am always trying to improve, so who knows? I might remake more of my old mashups. I love the intro in the 2016 ver, but this one the actual instrumentals sounded more clearer, and more switches between BTS and BLACKPINK lines, which made it more pristine and intricate. As a 10th grade student at the time you put out the first version, I very much loved it and as you remade the whole thing, starting from it came out, until today, I WAS SO ADDICTED❤
