You're right, when Jk calls his mom, he addresses her as Eomma while Jimin uses Eommoni as nim is a honorific suffix; same goes for Namjoon when his dad called btw, he addresses dad as Abuji, not just Appa - so maybe it's how they do it in their family 😊 another linguistic thing for you- when a child is born is Korea, his parents are called "so-and-so mom/dad" sometimes to a point where spouses call eo like that. As for collective, it's very strong in the language, so a person says "uri eomma" which is "our mom" even if they're the only child in the family, "mom of our family" so to speak. And parents/family members often talk about themselves in 3rd person, "hyung will do it" or here, "mom doesn't know " And yes,the families are quite close, Namjoon and Jin's dads are besties as they are also currently neighbors (mentioned by Namjoon), JK and Jimin's families are close as they live in Busan...during in the soop s1 Taehyung brought sandwiches and kimpab for everyone made by his mom and the subtitles said "made with love for her seven sons"🥰

As you know Suga, Jimin, V and Jungkook are from different parts of KungSan province. Out of them, Suga and Jungkook have the strongest dialect. It's hilarious when they speak with such strong dialect, sounding like old men. Some families adept to standard speech more than others. Also Jimin's mom is from Jeolla province as is J-Hope. I've never heard Jimin speak in Jeolla dialect though..
