Suga did wrote his part. Only SUGA can write that kind of language. I just check the album and it said RM, JHOPE, SUGA and some in house production team produced nothing about who wrote the songs @Dr Valkyrie is wrong to say that SUGA didn't wrote it. It is definitely all three rap line wrote this song and so many EARLY BTS SONGS. Until vocal line write lyrics. Now they all write lyrics and most of them produced it except Jin don't know why? . But Jin is silly but he make every members feel more comfortable well except SUGA THEY ARE ONLY 3 MONTH A PART. Thank about it.It's so funny in America it's nothinģ but Korea is different when you are born you are 1 old and Jin is born on December so Jin is 2 yrs old when SUGA is 1 yr old.

@@minyunkie.p5086 for real? 🙃 Im army since 2015 but except Rapline the others are just co-writers same for producing. They wrote or composed 1 verse or two. Even for vocal lines solo tracks they always have RM for help. Btw i already wrote in my first response they do their part in producing/writing still the songs in the album are always completed with bighit producers. Thats why i wrote they aren't fully self-composing/writing except mixtapes

Ddaeng and UGH are definitely some songs yall would like PS: since BTS do a lot of word play in their lyrics...the translations simply sound off more often than not. I'd highly suggest reacting to some of the breakdowns DKDKTV do on BTS rap songs, such as the two I mentioned above. Maybe you can try to do a combo with the original song (so you can hear it uninterrupted) and then their explanation of the lyrics, but checking the second one could surely be done on your own time too if it's too much of a hassle! (either way, again, HIGHLY recommend it) You'll be blown away fr 🔥

I personally prefer cypher 4 because the beat sound more modern n easy to sing along while cypher 3 more reminiscing old hip hop sound. Its all depend to personal taste.

BTS write and self produce their music they are actually one of the few kpop groups who do it the 3 rappers specially they all have solo mixtapes they are so good to start i would recommend Daechwita by Suga seeing that you enjoyed his rap the most, also you gotta check out the rest of the cyphers you will see that RM and jhope are incredible rappers too

Suga is definitely one of if not the best rapper in the industry. He self produces allllll his tracks, has solo tracks by his solo name AugstD, he was inaugurated as a member of the Korean Music Copyright Association. He makes 200-300 songs a year! Anyways the cyphers go HARD!!!

BTS rappers produce and write all their own stuff. Each one is just really unique in their own way and I can never pick a favorite because it changes every song 😂 for me, RM can be so laid back or go super hard and heavy with his flow, J-Hope’s flow is so versatile and changes every song since he can go along with any beat and will switch up his flow like 3 times in one song, and SUGA is super dope and always goes hard af when he spits so they are really all different and it’s hard for me to compare them so that’s why I can never choose a favorite 😭

I would suggest PLT - hocus pocus or igoholic for more k hip hop sounds. Also I would suggest the k-artists DEAN, crush or jay park for more k r&b! there's way more than just the kpop scene or "idol" music. I will keep suggesting them LOL. the cyphers always slap! the member suga who y'all liked, his solo name is agust d and he has a few mix tapes out! suga be my bias haha.

Suga is definitely one of the best rappers in S Korea, he produces and writes his own music and that is what separates him from other Kpop 'idols'. Suga is an actual artist. He has a lot of solo work you should check out :)

BTS write and produce most of their own songs, they're pretty much responsible for revolutionalizing Kpop. When BTS eats then the whole industry eats, it is all thanks to BTS that the interest for Kpop has increased significantly on a global scale.

what makes bts stand out among kpop groups is they wrote and produce their own music since day 1 of their debut.. RM and Yoongi are already producers and song writers even before joining BTS.

This is the holy trinity of BTS ➡ the rap line: RM, Suga & JHope. Yes, they write, compose and produce their own music. Their roots are in hip hop. These guys are the original foundation to what makes BTS who they are today. The CEO originally wanted a hip hop group, but eventually went with an idol group instead. However, they remain close to their roots and have the creative freedom to go beyond that. 💜

Bts produce and write all of their songs Suga used to be a underground rapper before he joined BTS and RM too Jhope however was street dancer and only got introduced to rapping when he joined the company however he quickly got a hold of his own flow and rythm and is now with suga and RM one of the best rappers in the industry

All 3 rappers are so talented and write amazing lyrics so in every song you can have a favorite verse. In Cypher pt4 Suga is fire. In tear, Jhope is amazing. In Ddaeng, RM is so smart with his delivery and lyrics. Such an astonishing rap line

BTS rap line is the best rap line in kpop idc idc. They all have their own thing, Jhope changes flow and his sound effects hype you up , Suga has blunt lyrics no filter and has the fastest rap, and Namjoon has the best lyrics- a true lyricist that his rap feels like poetry and the wordplay is insanity please. All together they create this different vibe that clashes and creates insane songs in one. They fit so well.

Yassss! I love Suga. He’s my bias. He’s a bboy too. Also plays the piano and is learning to play the guitar. They write their own lyrics and produce a lot of their music. Suga, RM and JHope are all recognized producers and Suga won awards for songs he’s produced with other artists. Check out their Mix Tapes.

I love every member of BTS soooo much now, but I can't lie back in the day it was RM's rap tracks that introduced me to BTS, and when I was still getting into them it was the songs Suga produced and then his solo tracks that really got me. I think Suga has a real talent for hitting certain emotions pop songs just can't hit as well too, I mean BTS is known for hitting your emotions, but idk Suga has been there for sure and really takes you to a place when he raps that I definitely think anybody who likes that type of music should really give him a listen. His solo music has been hella therapeutic to me personally, but I totally understand if it's not everybody's style, that being said BTS as a group too has plenty of songs that feel healing so for everybody there's something along those lines, I'm just saying all this cause I know to some people Suga's music can be a bit too much emotionally and I get that and do want to put that warning out there.

One thing you have to keep in mind with BTS is : they WRITE and PRODUCE MOST (if not all) of their songs themselves, that's what makes them one of a kind, plus their ability to be versatile. Their rapline (RM, J-Hope and Suga) is insanely talented. Lyrically one of my favorite would be "OUTRO : TEAR" ! Looking forward to see you dive into them more.

Every rapper in bts has at minimum 100 songcredits to his name. With RM taking the cake, I think he has close to 200. Suga not only writes and produces for bts but for other artists as well. My fav prod. Suga track being Epik Highs eternal sunshine.

Its hard to declare a "best" in BTS. They do write their own raps and produce as well. I would break them down as: RM=commander, ability to flow over multiple complex beats in two languages Jhope= he is the flow master and the hype man Suga=all emotion and aggression, speed and cadence.

YES BTS do write their own lyrics esp the rappers and even produce their own songs. This ultimately makes BTS different from those ordinary kpop groups. They somehow started this new culture of idols doing their own lyrics and producing music without being fully controlled by the company. Companies now are giving their artists some freedom but bighit did start this pro-artist culture of nuturing their skills in composing and producing.

I watched bunch of your reaction videos to other k-pop groups to grasp what you lean to and vibe to. I came to conclusion that it is gonna be challenging to find BTS songs you might both like. BTS in a bit different path than rest of k-pop. They shifted from that usually hard banging ears piercing sound k-pop use quite a while ago and lean toward experimenting with softer side and focus more on message than enything else. But ARMY likes a challenge and there is so many songs to pick from. R&B guy might gonna like "House of cards" by BTS vocal line. Rap guy might go for BTS rap line "Ugh!".

Yes,they do write their own lyrics... Most of their music not just for the rapline but also the whole BTS. Even the vocal line does their writing on their own. They collaborate too. The Rapline wrote over hundreds of songs not just for their own but also for otherr artists, and they are members of writers Korean Copy right association Bighit gave them freedom to do and write their hearts out from time to time. I think you would enjoy some of their other songs.

They have live concert versions of Cyphers (there are 4) on youtube and they are LIT. You’ll really get a sense of each rapper’s flow which are all different when they are all 3 performing together on stage and see the entire audience rapping along. My personal favorite is Suga who goes by the name Agust D (it’s Suga spelled backwards and DT stands for Daegu Town, his rap crew before he joined BTS. His hometown is Daegu. My favorite music videos of his are Daetchwita and the self titled Agust D from his mixtape, as well as his solo Shadow on a BTS album. His videos are sick and go HARD. The production values on his videos are insane because it seems like they have no budget limit.

Of course they wrote their own lyrics. They are all certified members of the Korean copyright association. BTS are known for their lyrics and being artists that write and compose. RM and Suga got hate for leaving underground rap to join a Kpop group but it got their music out to the world where it wouldn’t have been heard otherwise.

Thats the one thing that draws people into BTS is there lyrics and how deep into the music they were. Like we have groups like exo who are gods as singing but lyrics arent there main thing.

Cyphers 1-3, the rapline are savage and attack all their haters with intelligence, hard hitting lyrics and raw flows. It all tells a story and cypher4 is the finale telling the haters to love themselves lol imagine a whole stadium singing "I love I love I love myself". (2017 cypher medley live, is fireeee) FunFact.. If you listen closely to the end of JHope's verse after he says "this will be the first and final words" you can hear him say 'f@#k it'😅

Yes, rapline wrote own lyrics, espically in rapline (rap unit) songs. They are producer too and they have own mixtapes. They make own music from the beginning (2013) and their live performans so good. You can check out Cypher Part 3 live eng sub and UGH too.

Yes the wrote there own lyrics, all 3 rappers have there own Mixtape. Info Suga and Rm was underground rappers before bts, J-Hope was a streetdancer and he learned to rap when he joined Bts

There is a live performance called BTS CYPHER MEDLEY PERFORMANCE...it is them performing an amalgamation of all their cyphers. It is really good.

Yall should react to BTS’ song, “Dynamite”! It’s their first fully-English single, and it’s a disco pop track that’s very fun and highly influenced by the King of Pop himself! This song got BTS the record for the most views on a KZfaq video in the first 24 hours, their first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100, and their first Grammy nomination in a major category (Best Pop Duo/Group for the 2021 Grammys) 🤩 It’s even possible that yall have heard the song on the radio or somewhere out in public, this song has been making it so big. These dudes are currently dubbed the biggest boyband in the world for a reason, so I really think yall should get into them-you will not be disappointed!

Yeah unlike many other kpop groups bts is heavily hip hop. That's their foundation, they have more vocals based tracks in recent albums but still rapping/ hip hop is a very important part of their music

Guys, all of BTS rap verses are written by the rapline themselves (rm, suga, j-hope)! And lots of other BTS songs r written by themselves, mostly RM as well. Check the credits for BTS songs :)

I feel like Cypher 4 is more tongue in cheek. In 2 and 3 it's basically bar after bar. I kinda wish you went in order so you can see the evolution of the cyphers. Also if you thought Suga was fire here, he straight up murders in 2 and 3.

You need to react to all the cyphers ! Especially the second one is a big diss track towards another rapper ,who once insulted suga and rm and that was their way to respond. Thats also why jhope is not as present in the track but its by far my fav one out of all 4
