The reason why a lot of Army love their mostly Korean songs it's because they are full of meaningful deep lyrics, creativity, art, positive messages, amazing crazy hard choreos and they are so talented. When they perform live, they give their all even if they are hurt or sick, you can see their hard work and dedication and they always show their love and appreciation for us Army. They are philanthropists, humble, talented kind men who just love music, art, Army, and stay positive and focused even with all the hate, racism and xenophobia, even withcraft they get. I get you mainly like hip hop, r&b and rap. But like Suga said, if you listen to BTS without prejudice, you'll like us. And many of their songs are hip hop and r&b rooted. Thank you so much for giving BTS a chance. I was on the same boat as you about Kpop until I discovered BTS in 2020. At that time, my boys (now 26 & 21) also left home for medical school & college respectively. So 2020 was double sadness for me going through “empty nest” in addition to the pandemic. I found BTS and I owe these 7 young men a lot! I love their meaningful music, artistry, talent, kindness, integrity… the more I got to know them through their contents, I know I had to enlist to the BTS ARMY. I’m a 50 year old Asian who grew up listening to UK New Wave, U.S. Hiphop (Tupac!), and now BTS. This performance by RM, Suga, & JHope is legendary to me. I’m OT7 but music wise, I do like the albums of the Rapline more than the vocal line…Love BTS! So proud of these guys!

Jungkook is the Main Vocalist and centre of BTS. He also does the majority of harmonies and adlibs. Jimin is a lead vocalist and is very recognisable by his high unique voice. V also has a very recognisable voice aa the baritone of the group. Jin is a power house when it comes to his vocals and he excels in the Japanese songs.

And yeah V is a vocalist. All four vocalists are amazing as well and can hit very high notes. Watch V's "stigma" live so you can see how high he can go even though he has a low register and is the baritone of the group, his range is I think the most versatile out of the vocalists. I think the song stigma is r&b also. The vocalists can rap and the rappers can sing. They are all so amazingly talented. Definitely watch the BTS guides so you can get to know our boys better and see why Armys love them so much. They are not only crazy talented, but smart, humble, kind and just good people. I've been to two BTS Stadium tour concerts (PTD LA Dec. 2, 2021, and PTD Las Vegas April 15,16, 2022) and one SUGA aka Agust D concert - D-Day (May 16, 2023). Amazing concerts, all of them.
