Their songs and music videos are always a surprise because you never know what kind of genre they will do next. From the beginning of their career they said they didn’t want to stay in a genre bubble. That’s why a lot of people are surprise when they hear BTS because of the Kpop label but what they don’t know is in Korea it doesn’t really mean pop music like in America. Kpop in Korea is often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop that is influenced by styles and genres from around the world like hip-hop, Jazz, pop,etc. Basically the term kpop is just a big umbrella with different genres underneath. That’s why I love them because it’s always different. Some are triple threats or even quadruple threats because they all can sing,rap and dance then some can act or produce/write music too. To be a Kpop idol you have to know how to sing,dance and rap. Plus they even have to train before debuting.

I always thought this song had a interesting connection to the idea of the red string. In a lot of asain folk tales they say people are born to be together and are attached by an invisible red string. DNA has a similar idea that meeting and being together is not a coincidence but meant to be because of who you are

This is just my opinion but I think this song is about all seven of them coming together to become BTS. If you look at the words they say their DNA brought them together in this life, in their past lives and in their next life. Then when they sing "we two found our destiny", I think they're talking about BTS and ARMY.
