If JK really hones in his bboy/breakdancing skills, I think people wouldn’t leave him out of the conversation as much. I can definitely see him being a powerhouse bboy. Not that he doesn’t shine because he kills it anytime, any place. His style is more powerful and hip hop-like. So he has it in him already. Root wise, we have Hobi - Street dancing/popping and locking. Jimin - Contemporary. JK - bboy/hip hop. All three have their own individual style that are unique to them despite who’s better. They’re BTS’ dance-line for a reason.

BigHit send JK before debute during the training period as the only member to the U.S. so JK could learn how to dance different style's of dancing. It was a lonely time for him but JK was then and still is very motivated to learn new things. When he does something he also wants to be the best at it. I've seen those vids of how JK was taught how to dance like that and those are also very good because, you can see how he learned all these different style's. I liked it because JK was taught with only him and the dance tutor. So you can see how much time JK put into learning how to dance.
