Listen. I know this is far sooner than what you had thought you would be seeing me. In my defense I filmed this literally right after my 'update 2023' video so I had the footage handy. I have been fiddling around with different aspects of my new editing software (FCPX) and somehow landed on this format??? Unsure going forward if it'll stay like this but please let me know down in the comments as to whether or not you like this layout or absolutely hate it. Do you prefer my face to be larger than the MV/content I am watching? Do you prefer the content to be larger? Let me know! At any rate, today we are exploring 'on the street' which is Hobi's latest single and likely the last one before enlistment. MAN THIS SONG. j.cole flow and the words he uses is amazing to hear. the contrast between hoseok words being more positive and about love and then the most "realistic" talk after - incredible. they're such amazing artists, it's so nice to see hobi knowing his idol 🥺 so proud of him! about the editing and new style: i loved it. it was not too much or too little, it's sweet along with you in the video ✨️ but explore and have fun trying different things, i'm sure we will love it everytime!!! thank you for the beautiful reaction bubs :)

I didn't particularly care for J.Cole's portion; seemed disconnected from the theme of the video/song, like he slipped in and did his own thing that was tangentially related. Hobi was focused on "us" and what "we" mean, whereas JC's verse was "me" and "I".

You totally missed the point of the song. The point here is that both artists through their art makes smth for their people, for “streets”, for fans. Jhope talks about how fans’ love and faith made him that “hopeful” person while Jcole talks about God created space for him and how he can’t let go this rap passion

I have no idea whether J Hope is a lyrical rapper or not. But, since he was known as a rapper in Korea, and comes from a famous boy band, I expect him to be more lyrical because Cole verse was better in this song. He also had a short verse in his own record. He should go all out with his pen.
