This is a 90's Kpop song by a group named Shinhwa. It's very common for the younger groups to do special stages/covers of an Iconic Kpop song or top artist of the past at like music festivals and things where multiple groups from different generations are in attendance. Ya know, like paying homage to those that paved the way for today's idols. BTS has done some of the best covers I've ever seen or heard (they have both english and korean covers that are only audio but, are just as amazing) A suggestion for you is BTS's cover of "Rainism" by the Korean singer Rain. Oh and just a fun fact, Shinhwa is the longest running group in Kpop history of 20 years, without any member changes or losses. BTS has said many times that they highly respect them and try to follow their lead of sticking together. BTS's relationship with each other is a honest to God brotherhood. They genuinely love each other. It's sad to say but that's rare in the Kpop industry. Not that other groups don't, I'm just saying BTS is one of the lucky ones that got the blessing of meeting new family members. That doesn't happen everyday.

Cecilia, Shinwa have some iconic bops, I always enjoy watching them get covered by younger groups. BTS's Come Back Home is a remake of another classic song of the same title by Seo Taji and Boys. It's one of my favourite BTS songs but without the original we wouldn't have such an awesome track blessing our ears ;) YG founder Yang Hyun Suk was in Seo Taji. (If you don't know about them ) :)

Drunk Mint theres a difference between learning quick things from someone and learning things yourself. Ofc they know who bts are because they reacted to them but they dont know who they really are behind the professional mvs and songs that they react to. This video will give them the boys personality and show ones of the reasons why army love them, we love their music but we also love what's behind the music and theres nothing wrong with asking the reactors to react to that video so I personally dont know why you feel the need to make these comments

Perfect Man is by the group Shinhwa that was released on March 2002. BTS performed at a show honoring them at the 2015 MBC Music Festival. They also did Rainism by Rain in honor at 2016 MBC KMF.

This was a BTS song, This was a cover for an award show Of a song by a group called Shinwa They originated back in the mid to late 90s, So that's why the song has that old school vibe And you're right it does sound like an American song that I've heard before but I could never put my finger on what song

The show that they were performing on was their new years countdown show. In it some of the artists perform covers of old popular kpop songs as throwbacks. The song Bts performed was originally by Shinhwa. It was released in the early 2000s. Even the dance was Shinhwa.

fun facts: this song is actually a cover of a Shinwa song that was popular in the late 90s/early '00s. the choreo is from that time too. Shinwa is the longest lasting kpop group and still has all it's members. This is their 20th anniversary and they're in their 40s now, but still are making music and dancing and have made their own label now. BTS have often quoted them as role models and are actually kind of friends with them as Shinwa gave them advice when they first started and Jungkook did a show where basically he hung out with one of the members for a day and got to ask for all kinds of advice. It was a show you were supposed to shoot with one of your peers but Jungkook asked to do it with someone twice his age because it was someone he respected a lot. another fun fact: RM isn't in this performance because he got exhausted during rehearsal so had to sit it out

This is one of my favorite covers of theirs. It's a cover of one of Shinhwa's, a first generation kpop group, songs. This cover and the original are both good in their own way so I can't really choose but this cover is so freaking good. Like, the way they had the crowd going wild the only way they know how to. They made that festival theirs tbh.

since most of the comments explained who’s song it was then I might as well tell you that, they performed this last minute. On the same day, they were told that they were going to perform it and they only practiced for about an hour for the performance. People and Idols praise them for being able to perform it just with practicing for an hour, its choreography was intense and for the fact that they performed it with that long of practice is really hard. To be able to perform that kind of song would take about 4-6 hours everyday to practice so they would nail everything. But I am so proud of them to do that and see how their dance was sharp although there were a few mistakes, honestly, it didn’t look like they practiced for an hour.

This is one of my all time favorite BTS performances. They slayed this cover of a veteran kpop guy group, Shinhwa, they're still going strong at 20+ years since debut.

The Orginal song is By Shinwa a korean boy group from the 90s one of the first boy groups. This was their song and choreo.

I love the fact bts gets you hyped but I also wish you would concentrate more on the performances. Like there are so many things to notice but you miss everything while talking or clapping. There were so beautiful vocals in it and powerful dance moves

This special performance is a cover during and end of the year show so its not the full song. The song is Perfect Man by 1st generation kpop group Shinhwa. Shinhwa was debuted back in '98. So they had a somewhat similar sound to Backstreet Boys and Nsync. Shinhwa is still together and celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. RM is not in this performance because he had hurt himself. And the people you see sitting on the sides of the stage are other kpop groups.

I'm glad you guys reacted to this cover over an older song (hence that 90's feeling). Maybe you could react to another cover by BTS "As I Told You/말하자면" ? the song was released in the 90's and was very popular and has a rather sad history. If I'm not wrong, the original singer Kim Sungjae released this song as a solo song. He performed it only once for his debut stage and unfortunately died the next day. The song is really famous in Korea. BTS covered the song, the dance and even the outfits. I personally really like the song

So this was basically a cover of Kpop legends, Shinhwa's song, 'Perfect Man' at the 2015 MBC Music Festival. Also in case you didn't notice, RM wasn't there to perform due to an injury at the time. Still the boys killed it and it's one of my favorite performances. Like always, I loved your reaction and can't wait for your next one 💜💜💜

The original is by Shinwa they were around when the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC were I believe. They really gave it that western 90s feel. They killed the choreography 🔥🔥
