Namjoon is sometimes done with BTS but all in all he’s the best leader and they all love each other he so considerate of them and listens to them as well as knowing what’s best for them and that in itself makes him such a good leader 💜

This wasn't the "RM being done with BTSs english" video that I thought it would be. People usually react to a different one (idr the name) but it was a nice video non the less! It just didn't really cover the good English speaking moments from when they first began traveling. They're much more fluent now, so these videos usually have older clips. Also important to note the cultural difference. Idols are entertainers and use lots of body movement and different voices to entertain their fans which is something that's not done in western culture by western artists. So a lot of their earlier interviews are a bit hectic as they where learning about other cultures and other cultures learned about theirs

I don't think this is the right video. There's better than this. It's Namjoon being done with BTS' english by Vhyungvibe. Most of the clips here were cut short so you couldn't understand some of it.

I think there was a different compliation video for this - this one doesnt really show naything or him trying to help them and just makes it seem like he's mocking them. Theres a Different RM is so done with BTS english video - never seen this one before.

Lemme explain the "night apple" thing... In English we have a saying "An apple a day keeps the doctor away". In Korea, they have a similar expression: "Eating an apple for breakfast is golden, an apple for lunch is silver, and if you eat an apple at night it's poison (i.e. it's not healthy to eat one at night)" So that's what JK was trying to translate into English when he was drunk.

One thing that annoys me about the kpop fandom in general and not just ARMYs is when fans mock the members English skills. At least they're trying to learn a new language. Like yeah, they're cute so their speaking will be cute too, but like it gets disrespectful, and ethnocentric when fans mock their pronunciation.

Bts also write songs and sing in japanese. When BTS sing in japanese you should always know that the power of vocal line is very amazing especially because their Japanese songs are mostly with high notes. They have lots of japanese songs I hope you guys will react to it. I will recommend 5 of my favorites Crystal Snow, Your Eyes Tell, Dont leave me, Stay Gold and For You. Actually RM is really patient with BTS about the english thing. They all practiced with him before interviews and he always encourages them to speak more. He never holds the fact that he can speak english above their heads. 😊 Now they've gotten better and also american interviewers have gotten considerate and now there's an interpreter.

This compilation is quite old. Their english has greatly improved in the last 3 years

I think they do well when speaking English. They may not have the biggest vocabulary and they may not always have the sentence structure correct, but they are able to use what they do know and get their point across. As someone whose native language is English, I am always impressed by those who are able to speak It when it’s not their native tongue. Or anyone who can speak a second language in general. So to all of you out there who can speak multiple languages… I say many kudos to you!!! 💜✌🏻

Yoongi is not concerned about learning English and I totally understand. He’s representing his true self and still getting request to collaborations. I appreciate and respect his lack of concern to conform.

I believe a person gets so much more than just vocab from learning another language. It really helps give an insight into the culture even from learning the structure of the sentences. It also teaches you humility from how hard it is to learn to a point of being fluent. And it teaches tolerance and appreciation that someone is trying to speak your own language (rather than just mocking someone for sounding childish or dumb just because they don't know the vocab. Really enjoying your reactions. Very genuine in that you are picking up some odd vids to watch but then you'll appreciate the ones that are done well even more. Also you are so lucky that you are getting some good intell from Army in the comments.

When you said “RM is SO DONE with bts’ English” this is not the video I was expecting. There is a better one on KZfaq where he literally has to explain what they are trying to say and looks “done” like in interviews together. With all of that being said all 7 are so good at English now!! A lot of older videos like that people try to make fun of their English, I never understood that because learning a whole new language is SO HARD!! It’s so impressive even their skills from years ago. So thank you for not making fun of them like I’ve seen other reactors do.

I think this video was called "RM being done with BTS English" because there were already other popular videos of RM "actually" being done with BTS English. RM is a cool dude and is really supportive in the members as they learn English, sometimes you can tell that he gets tired of being the only member fluent. RM tends to show his instant reactions to things, there are videos of RM instantly regretting his choices, he is so easily relatable.

I have a feeling this is an old MisuP video, that channel had click bait-y titles with little to no relation to the actual video and the clips are also so short that they make almost no sense and are often times even split up WITHIN the video. I'd avoid their content as a new army so that you have more context. Sorry that you seemed to have watched the 'wrong' video! I've been learning Korean with Duolingo for a year now and it's going really well, I can already read when listening to calmer conversation, I understand most of it. I'm Portuguese with a degree in Classical Latin and Ancient Greek (started to learn by myself to enter the course, really) and a couple years years later, I was going on a holiday to Greece and people would ask me the time and make small talk on the street - nobody ever knew I was not greek unless I said so. I just had to process in my brain the phonetic change that happened back when Constantinopla was the religious center.

Their English is improving in leaps and bounds, but one thing to note is that Jin is very good, but not confident. Suga understands EVERYTHING and will sit and judge you in bilingual, and never let on unless he’s about to deflate your hubris.

In the one where Suga is translating for them and JK says: "We can make Army's hearts drop by sniping their hearts." Suga translates that to "Army's hearts, bangya, bangya." or "Army's heart's, bang, bang." However, at the end of the video he says: "We will shoot your heart." So he obviously understood how to translate it.

KNJ is my bias and do know that rm is considered genius and has 98% IQ he scored 99%? in his english proficiency. Thus almost of their lyrics has double meaning. He reads a lot too

I'm guessing this is a MisuP compilation by the editing. I would honestly skip anything from that channel. Their edits/compilations are often not very good or simply misleading and/or lacking context and at times rather random in their selection of clips. There are a lot of great channels out there with fantastic content to watch. This channel is not one of them.
