This is what's tricky about Jimin though. He only shows the part he wants us to see. Honestly, if we take a deeper dive into each of their likes and dislikes, character traits etc, Jimin will be the one we know least about despite of him being an extrovert. I can say this because I relate to him and Hobi a lot. This is something I relate to Jimin the most about.

hobi and jin are definitely the more private members they don't usually share their emotions like namjoon, yoongi or jimin, for example they often keep the harsh stuff to themselves and share that only through their music, so I also get the vibe that them two are more uncomfortable talking about very personal things they go through

i believe V's self-esteem and self-worth were built primarily by his family. he spent his younger years living w his grandparents. if there's a chance he would always bring them up like the proud son that he is, specifically his dad and his grandma. it's obvious he grew up from a loving and accepting home. when his dad said he could always quit and try different opportunities, to me that's a way of validating his emotions as a person capable of greater things. may we always show compassion for the ppl around us💚

Thank you for noticing the way Jungkook cares about Jimin. For the most part many in the fandom don't notice it and I think this is because it's such a natural way of caring for each other that this particular duo have. And I really adored how you managed to notice the different forms of communication and degrees of vulnerability the boys allow themselves to show. The group has great music but I think we should also appreciate all the different dynamics within it. Namjoon and Taehyung’s interview is one of my favs. I also think they balancr each other very good and both of them are the ones that I enjoy the most at interviews. Taehyung talking about his dad always make me emotional because I have a close relationship with my dad too. Actually that part went viral in Korea because every parent said that they want their children to talk about them like Tae about his dad and that it was important to support the dream of your child.

The guys (Jimin and Tae) used to tell a story about a time when they shared a room with Hobi. When he was asleep, he would hang his arm in the air and stroke his skin and his chest. He explained that his parents used to soothe him by rubbing his chest.

Jimin said in a Vlive that he had the dream of becoming a singer when he was in second grade but at that time his parents thought it was one of those childish dream. He worked really hard to achieve this. Only six months training and at the end he debuted as the lead vocalist and one of the main dancers. His father wanted him to become a lawyer I believe but when jimin said he wanted to become an idol, his parents supported him and his dad drove him to all dance classes. His parents are really supportive. His dad is like jimin’s biggest fan. He will send flowers on his birthdays, one time jimin showed a text message from his dad after concert, his dad saying like “you know you were born to be my son, I’m so proud of you”. They have such a sweet relationship. His dad owns like a cafe. Many armies went there and said that the cafe is filled with jimin’s pictures and stuff and his dad will sometimes talk with armies and give gifts.

Every time I see it I cry with Jimin telling his harsh, love him so much, they are all nice people, I totally love Hope, Jin, Rm, JK my favorites, but also like suga and V,, and above all I am totally in love with jimin

Taehyung's aura is so immaculate & eloquent,the way everyone wants to talk to him and feel comfortable around him, his energy & personality are so pure & lovely which makes anyone immediately fall in love with him. He's indeed a social butterfly. He's a humble person, i love him

I want to say that one of the MC Yoo Jaesuk, the one with glasses, i admire him so much. He has almost the same humble beginning as BTS. So much pressure, so much backlash from other, people called him ugly, he not gonna make it blablabla, but now he is one of the most successful MC in SK. I used to watch most of his shows. And he is hilarious but also so respecful and kind. Honestly i don't know if this is 100% true but i watched few of his interviews and his story also inspiring. yeah. you're right that namjoon and taehyung are quite a well-balanced opposite-but-both-great example of communication. i never thought about it exactly like that before... jungkook really found a different calm and poise within himself in 2020 and onwards. it shows in interviews like this. jimin just radiates love. i don't know how to express or explain it. like hobi radiates joy and sunshine and professionalism.

If somebody ask me who from BTS I wanted to be with is Taehyung because he has a humor that you can't be embarrassed in any situation. He can be with everyone. Funny at the same time. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Hobi is the type to put all his emotions in his lyrics even though they are sometimes bright and upbeat sounding his lyrics are pretty raw and open I feel that's how he's most comfortable expressing his emotions(to us the fans at least I can't speak for his personal relationships)

A lot of groups fall apart because the members have big egos which prevent them from feeling empathy with others in the group who they feel are competition. BTS don't have big egos. They support each other, not compete with each other. Hobi and Jimin are close because they shared a room even after the others had their own rooms. Jimin has said that he doesn't like to be on his own. He still pushes himself hard working for hours to prepare for his collab with Taeyang even though he suffers from muscle cramps.

jimin is the strongest person i know. His mind are especially the strongest

I love these interviews so, so much. The guys are clearly comfortable sharing some very personal things. They're styled beautifully but simply. The interviewers took time - lots of time - to build rapport. Even the space they're in was chosen to give a certain feeling - openness, stillness. I've used a meditation garden in the same way. My training is qualitative research - in-depth interviews - so I know something about what it takes to do this. I really love seeing it because it can't be forced - that's real trust we're seeing. And it was sincerely earned, because these are beautifully and sensitively edited. What we see of each of them is very true to who they are. I enjoy listening to your expertise, but it's rare for me to feel like I have anything much to add 😂 You really do know these guys now. I love that you find V fascinating 🤣 but I'm not surprised. He's hard to predict. All of them are sincere, most of them are pretty straightforward, and Taehyung is occasionally playing by a completely different rulebook. I love it.

Suga just did an interview with Taeyang from Big Bang. He was a giggly cute fanboy the whole video. I wish you'd react to it. This was a good reaction video. I do think being vulnerable with people helps create greater rapport. It's an important part of how I lead my classroom. To make sure I'm a person to them too.

This Taehyung(V) & Namjoon interview is my favorate even though my bias is jimin..because i think Taehyung and Namjoon are two most communication skilled members of BTS, who are very confident and intelligent..especially Taehyung he is epitome of confidence, calmness & excellent communication skills...so it was really good of this show to get them together..you get to learn a lot about how to be confident, smart and presentable in life from Taehyung and Namjoon..👏👏 .

V also has something we like to affectionately call his vibe check. If V is looking like he smells something bad or he'd rather be somewhere else, he puts a certain face on.

hobi has talked about his anxiety issues, and mentioned before his mom would pet his hair til he fell asleep as a kid lol there's video of him asking jungkook to play with his hair, or falling asleep to jimin rubbing his legs. i think he picked up a habit of physically self soothing, you can kinda tell when he's slightly uncomfortable- maybe not wanting to get away or avoidant, but the self soothing seems to give him confidence to open up. hobi really doesnt open up like that much, i think he's a little guarded with his worries and anxieties because he doesnt want to worry army lol

J-hope is a well known self soother. The guys laugh at him when he goes to sleep he lightly rubs his arms and chest. J-hope said his mother did it to him to calm him before he slept as a child as he was very hyper. Jimin is very hard on himself and does always put others first, he does not feel like he is up to the groups par at times. Kudo's to JK for standing up for him and saying, "Hey you are great too." As far as Jimin working so much he reminds me of when I was learning to play drums. It is Passion that drives you do to that. I would go to school and in school do 1 hour of drum practice in band class, then go to drum lessons after school for 2 hours, then practice from 5 pm till 10pm every day. On weekends it was nothing for me to play drums up to 12-16 hours a day, learning our songs for a concert. It is a driven passion many do not understand but once you go through it, you don't see it as something bad, I have fond memories of it. It is a rush to be doing something you love to do.

Have you heard what Bang PD said about that? He said conflicts become worse because we don't talk about them. At the beginning he set the rule that they had to talk out their differences. He said physically fighting was not bad, they should express themselves. Even if it only concerned 2 of them, or if it was embarrassing, they still had to talk it through with the whole group and get it settled. Then they'd report to him that they'd argued, and what solution they had come to. Once they each got to stand up and shout from the rooftop their frustrations concerning the Big Hit staff. Even Bang PD got targetted! The boys were also assigned, from time to time, to each write a letter of appreciation to another member. The support from Hobi's mother is a subject near and dear to him. When he talks about it (14:28-15:37) hear the clarinet? It's a little sample from a song he wrote in 2016: Mama. I figure that song has helped him talk about her without becoming too emotional. He not only wrote Mama, he performed it on a big stage with 8 backup dancers and a gospel choir of about 50 voices, in front of an audience of 1,000s. And singing over the band and the choir, he led that audience to sing the ending chorus along with him! i agree. I think because RM is the leader of the group, he needs to be careful of what he says as he is representing BTS. V is quite blunt, he has an interesting personality. There's a joke where we call his language as Taeyung language. he communicates differently with his grammar.

Before you watch Jin and Suga interview you should know that Jin asked them to cut out a lot of his part from airing because he got too emotional about some of the things he said and was uncomfortable airing them.

Hi Max, I wish you could give your time to discuss the lyric of BTS’s songs. I rarely found people deeply dig their meaningful lyrics. The way of BTS conveys their message is another level of communication.

About Hobi soothing himself- He mentioned in the past that as a child his mother would rub his head/body (probably like gentle pats too) to help him go to sleep. This came up when Tae commented that Hobi would 'touch himself' as he sleeps. Not sure why it was worded that way lol. I guess he's just moved on to soothing himself as he probably away from his parents and scared by himself, just a guess. Not sure if he still does it for sleep but there are still some self-soothing behaviors there and I find it cute! His family seems so loving and it's nice to see it reflecting in him.
