I'm Korean. Jin is so great man. He is a rare person in Korean culture. Usually, it's natural to order young people and run errands if they're even a year older in Korea. But he has never ordered his younger members. He also said that he needs self-esteem, but he doesn't need it when learning what he lacks from younger ppl n members. He shows himself first, so members respect him and act accordingly.

ah!!!! this explains a lot to me!!!, many thanks for your explanation about this!!! it is really different from what i understand to korean culture. jin seems to be humble to everyone he meet, although sometimes i think he kind of did too much, but the love and support he gave to others is really solid!!!

Thank you so much for pointing this out! JIN IS SO RARE! People look at him and thought “oh this is korean” but no, this is KIM SEOKJIN. Luckily, he has such good impact and influences to people around him including the members, they also followed their hyung and became decent good men. They show us how to be honest, love ourselves and respect others.

I love the way he takes care of every member like they were his own little brother 🥺 he fusses the most over Jimin, Tae and JK as the youngest, but even Yoongi, Hobi and Namjoon depend on him sometimes - which, when you consider that those three are the leaders on the professional side of things, is extra sweet. They know they can do their jobs and have Jin Hyung there for support and to offer advice when things are stressful and he respects their leadership even though he is the eldest. I have no doubt that Jin is a key player in the group staying together and becoming as successful as they have, he’s their rock who has probably suffered so much but never shows it to the boys or Armys. Love him 💜
