Also, you can’t miss the GCF in Tokyo. Fun fact that this trip actually is their personal schedule, no business involve, and no staff around. JK planned it all just for jimin’s birthday because in early interviews you can always hear jimin said that he wants to go travel with JK. Jk booked the airline ticket and hotel room by himself and filmed jimin during the whole trip. The whole video is all about jimin and you can barely see JK in it. Isn’t that the sweetest thing ever? Just for jimin’s birthday? And jimin did something adorable too this year for Jk’s birthday. During bts’ one month break, jimin traveled to Paris during jk’s birthday and he uploaded a video to celebrate jk’ birthday saying that he is in Paris and couldn’t celebrate to him personally. All the fans thought that jimin would miss jk’s birthday, but jimin actually flied all the way from Paris to Korea on JK’s birthday just giving him a big surprise. He also bought a special edition crystal ball that you can only buy it in Paris’ Disney land for jk’s birthday.

A little backstory on Taekook and jikook: Taekook used to be the most popular ship from 2013 to 2017 (and still kind of is) but ever since the GCF with JK and Jimin in Tokyo, jikook started to gain a lot more popularity. To give you more context. in that video: while the rest of the members went to visit their families, Jikook went on a trip together to Tokio. The video is entirely showing Jimin doing things instead of showing the city, and with a background song of Troye Sivan (a know gay singer)

Okay, I kept thinking about this and I feel like I have to write it down: I think what makes Jikook a really interesting ship (and the reason why many people are so invested in them) is that you can actually see an obvious change in their relationship and some kind of "character development". (That's also the reason, why Taegi is one of my favorite ships.) I'm not necessarily saying that there was a change in a romantic sense with Jikook (it's not my place to assume anything), but a change nonetheless. In early years Jimin was so overly affectionate with JK and JK was super shy and rejected him so hard sometimes that it was a little painful to watch honestly 🙈 Around 2015/2016 something definitely changed. Idk what happened between them, maybe they just grew up and became more mature, but I sometimes think (and please don't quote me on that, I could be so wrong) that Jimin's body image issues and his severe dieting could've been a reason for them growing so much closer. Whatever it was, Jimin started being alot calmer around Kook and Kook suddenly started showing affection toward Jimin alot more, to the point where that whole G.C.F. in Tokyo happened in 2017. Even if you don't believe that Kookie chose that background song on purpose, to deliver a message, he still took his time and made the effort to plan a whole trip for Jimin, film Jimin laughing and having fun, edit it beautifully and put it out into the world. Which was such a sweet thing to do. Jungkookie is still quite reserved and shows/searches for affection in subtle ways, while Jimin is alot louder about it, but they definitely get each other. Like Jungkook himself once said in an interview: they just "click".

I "ship" Jikook as in I believe they're probably more than friends but shipwars are just full of hate and frustration + they're completely pointless because there's nothing to gain from fighting over someone's relationship. I was the biggest ship hater and tbh, I’m still not a fan of shipping but Jikook is different. It’s the only ship that I’ll ever ship. To be honest, I think one of the main reasons people really get caught up in Jikook is because of how often they seem to visit/stay up late/share rooms together. For some examples there are two vlives (off the top of my head) where they’ve individually said they are alone in their hotel room but like 20min later you can here laughter from behind the camera or see their reflection in a TV screen. Which by itself probs just means that in reality one of them just didn’t want to be on camera and didn’t want to have to explain why to the fans and what not. Additionally, there’s also Jimin not being able to access the hotel room he was staying in as it was Jungkook that had the key card along with how Jungkook knows when Jimin stays up on his phone watching videos til 5am. I do think these are the building blocks of why people think Jikook is real as shippers take it as an implied notion that they regularly share rooms. I think it’s super cute but I can’t lie I’m an OT7 shipper with a very big love for Jihope lol, that’s just what I’ve noticed in my exploration of Jikook and the comment sections. ✌️

Btw you won't fully understand the reason its arguably the biggest ship in the fandom just by these 2 videos, because the main reason its so popular is because of the huge amount of content jikook has compared to other ships. It's the most fed ship in bts because Jimin and junkook are always doing sth together in behind the scenes footage and even off camera we get photos from GP or karmys, of jikook going out to different restaurants together on their private time, shopping, skating etc. And the second reason is how their relationship changed as they grew. All the Jimin quotes you saw from the end of the first clip was from before 2015 and back then Jimin seeked JK's attention all the time and used to tease him saying things like the quotes u saw, but Jungkook always brushed him off and act cool lol, but Jimin suddenly stopped doing that around 2015 and then JK was the one being sweet to Jimin and wanting attention, it was so sweet. Just fyi i don't think jikook or any ship in BTS is real at all, its just sweet to see how close they are. And jikook thictae video is not well made compared to other videos, specially the taekook and vmin ones as u can see there are lot of repeated and unrelated clips here, which is understandable as jikook is not her main ship and she contributed lots of videos already but I hope you take time to look up some videos on your own time. Yes that was the famous rose bowl ear suck lol. JM was overwhelmed because it was the final day of their first concert for the Speak Yourself tour. JK whispered something in his ear, and after that JM started crying, and then JK sucked on his ear and gave him a peck. I remember everyone freaking out on that day. The other clip of JM crying was from their concert in Brazil. JM was sick so he couldn’t sing at that moment and Brazil ARMYs sang his part for him, so JM said he started crying because he was overwhelmed. JK left his spot as soon as it was safe for him to do so (they were on lifts so he waited until they were back on the ground) to comfort JM. Thanks for the reaction! They make my heart burst and whatever their relationship may be, I will support them. I love them so much and I adore all of their bonds.

All of BTS's relationships are so admirable. I'm not a shipper but they have so much love for eachother. To see Jimin treat Jungkook as a younger brother, showering him with so much love and affection (as well as the other members do as per usual too), to see Jungkook being a pubescent boy and not giving the affection back (I can relate, I'm the youngest so I'm used to receiving and being embarrassed or shy to give back the affection) until he grew up and learned that showing he loved his hyungs too didn't hurt. Both are just so incredibly heart-warming. You see they are family and honestly it makes me jealous to see a group that loves each other, grew up together, and see each other as family and soulmates.

Personnaly I d'ont care at all about "best ship" because it's so much more fun to just love them all, like, you can't deny that they are all super close, and considering how they lived during the first couple of years after their debuts it could have gone either terribly wrong or as they are now, very close. For me that's the most heartwarming about these guys is how much they love each other in general, not just one or two but the seven of them, the rest concerns nobody but themselves. When it comes to shipping (romanticaly) i leave it to fanfictions where it's not them per say but a character ^^ and things are much more simple that way

BTS are the softest babies and are known to cry a lot during concerts for various reasons. Jimin was crying in the first clip bc he was overwhelmed by the fans (it was the first night of BTS’ Stadium world tour) and in the second clip Jimin had a sore throat so he couldn’t fully sing during the show and got upset about it so Jungkook was consoling him. And Jungkook was crying after seeing Namjoon get emotional delivering his ending speech at the final concert on their world tour so Jimin was trying to cheer him up (they all huddled around Namjoon too when the lights went out to try and cheer him up). Also Jungkook was seated on stage during some clips bc the poor baby cut his foot backstage before the first show on their Europe tour last year and had to get stitches so he couldn’t dance at all in Europe but instead did very enthusiastic chair dancing and all the members would find ways to go to him during the performances so he didn’t feel left out (he mentions it when BTS went on The Graham Norton show in the U.K. and his English is the cutest)

So fun fact, I personally love watching ships with jungkook because hes just so adorable with them all. I love seeing the different types of relationships he has with each member. Like his relationship with RM is so much different than Jimin for example. I think its so cool to see. Also as this series is coming to a close pretty soon I just wanted to say this has been my favorite series. I'm assuming you have ideas of videos you are getting to next but I wanted to make a suggestion for something for you both to see at some point in the future. Jinminkook being the funniest trio by bangtanoplis is a great video. They are really a chaotic trio that is so fun to watch. I think you two would enjoy that video. Especially in 2015 and beginning of 2016, new armys (including me) just thought jk didn’t like jm as much as his other hyungs because he’s doesn’t really let Jimin be affectionate to him?? But older armys explained to us that Jungkook was still shy and Jimin is openly affectionate with everyone. So we were like “oh okay. That’s cool” and then time went on and I think jk got comfortable with jm being affectionate and started being affectionate towards Jimin too. So that’s just that.

I love their dynamic. And since Jimin has a younger brother around Jungkook's age and vice-versa to Jungkook, I love how they take care of each other. They are each like a substitute of each others brother😂😂😍😍

The boys tend to get very emotional during their concerts, especially at the end. Sometimes they cry if they aren't satisfied with their performance either. The maknaes tend to cry the most but every now and then you'll catch the other boys crying too. Yoongi and Namjoon tend to hide it the best but even Namjoon couldn't hold back the tears when the love yourself era ended.

Everyone talks about how Jungkook was "pushing" Jimin off him, but he actually talked sweetly about him since the beginning. You can see that when you read interviews from 2014 and 2015 (because the dynamic between them really changed at the end of 2015 and 2016, when Jungkook became more affectionate/showed more his affection -- I guess it came with him growing up and learning to show his love), Jungkook was just really shy and less comfortable with the amount of affection Jimin showed him, especially in front of the camera.

Ok, so I will try to choose my words carefully, but I completely understand if you have to delete it. I respect your rules for the comment section! So I'm not one of the people that definitely say "I don't ship Jikook, I support Jikook". It honestly feels weird to me to ship real people. That being said, I definitely think they have a special bond and some questionable moments. While I generally like Thictaes videos, and think she gets a lot of good moments, sometimes the moments selected bother me. They sometimes (in ALL of the ship videos, not just this one) include one person just looking at the other. That to me isn't necessarily memorable. Jikook does have some unusual lingering glances during some Vlives, but like JK looks at Jimin when he's talking? Not exactly proof of Jikook in my opinion. And then some of the clips are used again video to video, when there are plenty of other clips that could be included. I have no video editing experience whatsoever, but I have thought about trying to make a compilation myself. We'll see if that ever happens haha. The other problem is a lot of these clips might be hard to understand without context. Like with Jikook, there are terms of "Jealous Jungkook" and "Satellite Jungkook". JK appears to push his tongue unto his cheek and get a bit miffed or jealous sometimes when other members pay too much attention to Jimin. So in the video when RM has his arm slung around Jimin and they're goofing around, then Jimin calls Jungkook with his microphone, while Jungkook is RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, when JK doesn't respond, that was what that clip was about. You seemed confused lol. Satellite JK wasn't really included in these videos, but at concerts and when roaming free at award shows, and in behind the scenes stuff, it always appears that JK drifts around following Jimin. Whether it is a conscious or subconscious action we don't know, but it does seem to be a thing. Some rationalize it as Jimin is simply the most comforting presence for JK after all these years. But there are actual lots of video compilations highlighting both these things. Also, the thing with Jikook is just how drastically their relationship has changed over time. In the beginning, Jimin was SO LOUD about how much he liked JK, and how cute he found him, etc. Jimin was honestly over the top with it. Some of the clips shown when he said "we're in a love relationship" and "I want to go on a date with JK" are from that time. Jungkook being a shy teen didn't know how to handle that and seemed really cold towards Jimin. There are actual clips of JK running away from Jimin lol. But then ARMY began asking if JK hated Jimin. That is when JK explained he didn't but he acted cold because he was shy. So then he made more of an effort to be less cold. As time progressed, they got closer, Jimin stopped being vocal about how much he loved JK, and they started having more and more sweet moments together. As stated above, it often now seems like JK is the one "chasing" after Jimin lol. I'm actually really looking forward for you to see everyone's relationships more as you watch their Run episodes and Bon Voyage. Also I can't wait for you to see GCFs. The very first GCF was of a trip that was just JK and Jimin to Tokyo. The trip was planned and paid for by JK as a gift to Jimin for his birthday. And the video is SO CUTE!! A lot of Jikookers point to that as a reason they ship Jikook. The song JK selected is by a gay artist, and the lyrics are enough to raise your eyebrows at, and the video pretty much follows a KZfaq tutorial about how to shoot a video about your outing with your significant other. There are numerous similarities if you see sections of the videos side by side, and JK has called out that KZfaq channel before for having helpful tutorials... ANYWAY this is much longer than I intended, but there was some stuff I had to say haha. Even if this has to get deleted, at least I've passed on some explanation to you lol. While I am kind of bummed that you reacted to this after part 3 got blocked, I'm happy to hear you will react to it if/when it ever gets reposted. Now hopefully this comment was ok. I did my best to explain without being negative about any other ships. Now to look forward to SOPE!! 😄💜 Edit: oh and the clip where JK was massaging Jimin's neck and then looked behind them with an odd expression? That was supposedly in response to someone calling out "Jimin is mine" or "I'm going to marry Jimin", something along those lines. Forget the exact quote. So they got that stank eye look from JK lol.

The maknae line is super close to each other. Jikook, Vkook and Vmin are probably the most popular ships, and as you said I can understand why people may think there's more than just friendship, but I believe is just that they are really close. Tae and Jimin are very affectionate and JK will always be their baby brother and act like a brat around them but still shows he cares for them. Fact: Tae and Jimin are both the oldest in their families and JK is the youngest in his.

Around 44:09 is a clip from one of their recent concerts. I've seen the clip you're talking about and I think it's from this but the clip was kinda grainy so I have no idea what Jungkook did to Jimin's ear. When I saw it, it just looked like he kissed his ear or said something to him but Jimin wasn't freaking out over that. It was the end of the concert and Jimin was getting emotional, that's why Jungkook was checking to see if he was crying and trying to comfort him. In the original audio you can hear Jungkook say "don't cry Jimin"

It’s also like ...a thing for the younger to massage the older. Especially for sons to massage their dads and like with the whole Korean sauna culture to like scrub each other’s backs and young always serves old and older always pays for and takes care of younger. Kookie can be cocky and definitely gets babied in BTS, but he really does try to be a good youngest member. Also it gives context to there’s a clip of Jin giving massages to the member and he starts talking about what a kind oldest member he is to be massaging his dongsaengs. It’s just culturally unexpected of him, but he doesn’t care to much about those kinds of rules and does what he wants. But is still going to brag about it 😂

The reason why I believe they are kinda different from other ships is because of the way they talk and act around eachother, their skinship is one of the thousand reasons why I ship them, but their touchiness isn't the main reason, sure other people ship them because their very touchy but soon if you dig deep into their relationship you'll get it

Jimin and Jungkook are really close. Jimin probably sees jungkook like his own little brother. Their relationship is so endearing. During their one month break, Jimin went to travel to diff countries but he went back home to Korea for Jungkook's birthday and then went back to his vacation the day after. He legit just went back to Korea for less than 24 hours just to celebrate Kook's bday together with Hobi. They're sooooo adorable.

ANITRA YOU WILD WOMAN!! Do we want to know about the poles :P In London during last year's tour JK was in a bathroom and he cut his heel badly. It needed stitches and he wasn't allowed to dance on it for about 10 weeks. It was their first time in London and JK apologized for getting hurt. He had to sit on a roller platform at the top of the stage for a bit during the encore and he turned away from ARMY. Jimin ran up to him and found out he was crying. He immediately turned JK around and started to cheer him up, so JK eventually limped down to the small stage with everyone. The Kookie crying during the concert was him being overwhelmed but the Jimin crying was for a reason. That was during the vocalist song The Truth Untold. Jimin was sick and his voice really gave out during the song so he broke down. JK saw it and while singing Jimin's part moved over to him to hug him while he was crying.

I love all the cute ships, but I only see all of them as close friends, kindred spirits and soulmates. OT7 for life!

Ever since I saw the first G.C.F. these two have been my absolute favorite 💖 and they definitely seem to have the biggest amount of affectionate/touchy moments in these recent years ... so adorable :)

I love all ships and definitely see why some people would assume there’s more than friendship but it’s one thing to think it and believe it to legit fighting one another over who’s better or whatever AND being this way where the guys can actually see it. This is just their normal relationship and I find it absolutely beautiful and loving. They’ve been thru so much together, how could they not be as close as they are!? Anyways I truly enjoyed this and I’m honestly excited for sope 😂 the most! Lately that ship has been number one for me, Yoongi being my bias and Hoseok just being Hoseok.. we don’t get much from them but when we do we cherish it 😆 cannot wait for the next ship video, whatever it may be because I truly love all of them together! I feel like there were more moments I remember that were even more adorable and sweet, maybe it was in the third part that was taken down? Idk and it doesn’t matter, this was amazing to watch. Thank you both!!!! 🤟🏼💜

I haven't watched this series because I was nervous of what it would be but I LOVE and totally agree with your disclaimer in the beginning. I don't really like shipping the member because I feel like people take it the wrong way and get defensive or think that I think they are in a romantic relationship. I think all the members are so cute and nice together! OT7!

I always enjoy ship videos just to see their relationships and extra content, but I have never ever shipped someone that wasn`t already together. But those two changed it dammit. If I am going to ship some, it`s Jungkook and Jimin. To me, I see something more than friends/family. And if they are, I will be so happy for them, and if they aren`t, then I am already super happy for them. No matter who BTS members end up dating (if not already dating), I will support them full heatedly💜 And yes, from my understanding, Jungkook is amazing at massages:) And I believe Jimin has problems in his back or something, so he is often in pain and we often see Jungkook massaging him, presumably to ease the pain💜 And when Jungkook was sitting in the chair on stage, his foot had stitches. And when he was crying, ARMY had surprised BTS by singing "Young Forever". All of them got very surprised and overwhelmed, but Jungkook, my cute, tough and sensitive boy broke completely down💜💜 When Jimin was crying, he had a sore throat I believe and wasn`t able to hit all the notes. I think Taehyung helped sing the high notes and Jimin, our poor beautiful Jimin started crying💜 When the song was almost over, Jungkook left his mark and stood beside Jimin as you saw in the clip💜 But this is just what we as ARMY know, but I can`t speak for them. I don`t know what is happening behind the scenes.

one of my mot fav thing about jimin is how openly, casually affectionate he is. like how beautiful it is how he just gives affection to the people he loves without caring about genders or what society has to say about dudes? it's so amazing and healthy and it inspires me so much to be openly affectionate as well.

Just a quick info: "a date" in Korea is to hang out and spend alone time with someone and it's not a romantic way, so a person can go on a date with their family members, with their friend, with their colleagues, etc. Celebrities say it all the time, for example they tell the hosts of the shows they went on a date with their mom because they missed her and blah blah blah. Even J-Hope said they go on dates (hang out) among BTS member to the Han River and ride bicycles mostly at night (when there is less crowded). When Koreans say "we are seeing each other" that means they're dating, and when they say "there some with this person" means they are flirting ('some' is a new Korean term for flirting used by the younger people)... I know all this by watching reality Kshow and Kdramas
