BTS is very popular and we wanted to have some fun with that, so we went to the line outside and we found some moms who were waiting with their super fan daughters. We brought the moms inside, introduced them to the boys in BTS, and then had them all video chat with the daughters in line to make them crazy.

I replayed that part so many times for his, Jimin's and Taehyung's reactions! :D Soooo dope! Also, pretty cool that they DID meet them after all! I was smiling so much it hurt. :') Ah, this is all so amazing. And to think that before Fire came out I was just watching their dance practise videos and was like "NO, I am not diving in. I am NOT." Hi!! I’m a 44 year old mom, who is a huge fan of BTS. I taught my 3 year old how to jam to them. I love these boys. I could’ve given birth to them really, so I’m not a regular fan girl. I truly love their music and talents. These boys are truly a breath of fresh air....I feel this generation needs them.

I am a 35yr old mom of 2 kids, also a American ARMY . I have never been a fan of any celebrity till 3 months ago. Being a fan of BTS is not necessary a teen thing. Although I admit their visuals are good, but the reason I support them is because of their background history, talents and most importantly their deep meaning of each song.

Over 30 club over here!! I too really love their backstory and their legit passion for hip hop, what it means and where it comes from. I've watched their music grow and develop over the years. To those wondering who BTS are, I am an American ARMY (their fan) since May 2016, so I got the basic scoop for y'all: BTS is a seven member, Korean boy band with incredible talent that debuted in 2013 after training for a few years. They write their own songs and produce them; another important thing is that they are from a very small company (which usually don't get Daesangs in a kpop world dominated by the Big 3: JYP, YG, and SM Entertainment). Only groups from the Big 3 used to get big awards, but in December 2016, BTS got their first Daesang award after just 3 years of hard work. Don't get me wrong, those three years and their trainee days were so difficult that they couldn't even dare to dream of making it that far. When they did, they cried... It was the happiest moment for BTS. From there, their fans helped get them to the BBMAs and helped spread their names around. Even people who think that they wouldn't like music in a language they don't know find that they really like it. As a veteran of 8 years listening to Korean music, I can tell you that it stops sounding odd to your ears after a bit. In fact, it doesn't bother me at all to listen to foreign music (I prefer it over American music now). Watch some performances, turn on captions when available, and see who they are. They are the closest band to their fans in all of Kpop - on social media all the time, bruh - and they are seriously hilarious. ARMY are well-fed with memes and inside jokes, and we are like a family to each other. In fact, ARMY is kind of like a support group sometimes. We are a family that is there for each other, we help each other when someone is in need, and we protect BTS. In all of my 23 years of life, it was the best decision I ever made. I've never felt happier being their fan... Hope that helps you guys understand how we feel. Kpop might not be your cup of tea, but they have rap, hip-hop, pop, ballads... and some of the best choreography that I've ever seen in a Kpop group. Give it a try if you can and keep an open mind as they slay you with sick beats! : ) -an American ARMY
