Both Jimin and Hoseok are main dancers.. at least Jimin is second in center according to this video. I think it's not only because one position, Jimin is main dancer and lead vocal (the second one with more lines) Hoseok is main dancer but sub rapper and sub vocal so maybe because of that he doesn't get center most of times. But both Jimin and Hoseok share center with whoever is there almost everytime, they are front line dancers. Or they both are responsible of the hardest parts of the choreo, they are a whole group, they are all important ♥

jungkook is the CENTER of the group for a reason 1 center, lead dancer 2 main dancer

Hobi and Jimin do stand infront by Jk's sides because the three if them are the danceline and strong dances so its important that theyre infront but Jk is always in the CENTRE whether it's a V dance formation or a circle formation then whoever is singing will come to the centre to be highlighted that's when you see Jimin or Hobi or Jin or V or the other two step forward and do their part. After that they leave the position for Jk to retake. Also Jungkook is the CENTRE of the group not just for dances and performances. Watch their official photoshoots, red carpet events, press conferences for their song releases etc you'll always see Jungkook at the CENTER/MIDDLE.

I explained why Hoseok and Jin doesnt get as much center/screen time as some people want. I think for Jin, he isn’t as confident in his dancing as he needs to be and he has difficulty doing complex choreo with singing. He has improved a lot but he is not a natural dancer. He works very hard. I think if he had been in a less talented group he would shine more. Suga had his shoulder injury for a long time and he wasn’t as physically fit as the dance line. Also, as a rapper, it is hard to rap and dance. I think now that his shoulder has been fixed and he has been working on his singing and dancing he will have more center time. Jhope is perfect for the original design of BTS as a hip hop group. When BTS shifted, the focus shifted to Jimin in the center more often for complex dancing. I am hoping that BTS does more hip hop and Jhope can shine more.

the problem with bts is that there is a big difference in their singing and dancing levels jhope jimin and jungkook are 3 of the best dancers in the whole kpop industry v and suga are pretty good dancers jin and rm lack a loooot in dancing vocal wise jungkook is one of the best vocalists in kpop industry he can pull off any genre he's the only stable vocalist in the group despite getting the most parts and having lot of dance breaks and he has the widest range and the best techniques he's the only one hitting high notes in a proper way jimin used to be a descent vocalist but since 2017 his voice got totally damaged as for Jin and v they did improve a little bit but it's still not enough jhope has potential to grow bigger as a vocalist but they aren't giving him enough chances sadly

and jungkook having the center position made it even harder to distribute the lines fairly and it gave him more center time than the main dancers themselves
