Abby Hee in my own personal opinion, I think they related this song to his character from "i need you", if you've already seen it, it probably explains why he calls himself a sinner for his horrible "crime", and the pain and regret it has caused him, or it could've anything else, probably in his personal life he's suffered to the point he blames himself for all the bad things that could happen in his life, only taehyung knows the real reason behind these lyrics, hopefully he shares it with us one day 😊

Many people, including myself, wonder what kind of hurt he must be hiding to sing a song like this. Many people have made theories (e.g. that the brother and sister he references are his real life siblings and he let something bad happen to them; or the song is about him coming out as a Christian and has references to Jesus; or some people think it's about him being homosexual. Many theories, and I choose to believe none. This is my favourite song. I think it's an amazing piece of art because it does exactly what I expect an amazing piece of art to do; everybody has their own completely different interpretation based on their own perspective. I've seen Christians think it's about Christianity, and homosexuals think it's about homosexuality. Isn't great music often there for us to relate to, and to comfort us? This song does that incredibly well. Although I personally choose not to take any interpretation of this song other than that V had to go through a lot of pain and suffering and may still be in that position, this song somehow does it all for me. :)

Taehyung is a very unique person, in both appearance and actions (both in a good way). His lyrics take on a whole new meaning when looked at from different angles. but always holds the original meaning it was intended to have. His song 4 O'Clock has very clear meanings but just has an overall aura of feeling to them.

Until now it still bothers me if V is really straight or Gay,, that is why i listen to this and try to understand his thoughts, my bias is Jungkook and i know he has fondness of jungkook and there are alot of videos about the two of them having something, which i really hope is not true, men growing up in one house (adolescence) is tough men, the sexual desires and urges.. thats normal and natural and part of growing up to become a MAN and if somehow out of curiousity they do it in their same sex becoz of too much closeness, that is where identity crisis enters. KPOP strict rules about NO RELATIONSHIP is very tough for this adolescence growing up making them get confuse of their gender identity.
