All the members submitted their works last year to be considered by the Academy but they failed to nominate them, its no surprise and it's no loss, the Grammy's is what it is, BTS certainly don't need them for validation

I haven’t watched the Grammy’s for years and have no plans to! Just like the Oscar’s, it has become so politicized and elitist! It’s no longer about the genuine, true talent. It’s about whether or not you kissed the right ass!!! It’s true! BTS doesn’t need them! They are measured by a different metric and their global success is obvious and apparent!!!💜💜💜

Personally, I think BTS is way bigger than the Grammy,s. I wish that BTS fans would boycott the Grammy’s like they boycott BTS. I do not watch the Grammy’s any more nor do I intend to until the Grammies recognize BTS for the talents they are. Just how I feel about it.

@@SonderDAzeX-nc6vg I was saying if they were not nominated for the Grammy's because I feel they should have been nominated a long time ago. As to where boycotting the Grammy's, one person would not make a difference but if a lot of people boycotted the Grammy's that would make a difference. I also feel the Grammy's are already losing ground because a lot of deserving people do not get a chance to shine and they have to much control over it who wins.

Been doing that for awhile now. If the Grammy scene was truly impartial the same people wouldn't win repeatedly. Also there would be some link between merit and world acceptance and acclaim. There's not.

Lots of successful artists don't get Grammy awards. I'm glad they went out with a flourish in 2022--showing why they are shown the high esteem of their fans. In a week of a town painted purple & 4 stadium shows in a week. No one can touch them, grammys ir no grammys.

Fans care more about the Grammy more than the actual artist themselves. And the thing is ppl are so selfish for their idols they forget that the perfoming artist(your faves) are not the only ones being judged on in a recording track. Lest we forget the producers, mixers, etc. those behind the scenes actually making the music for our faves? This is the technical part of music.

It's probably best that that's the one award they don't get. Not because their not good enough to have it but because of all the stuff that comes with it. They should be careful of this. Not that it's my business, but a lot of us already know. The guys are great and successful, so I wouldn't be too brokenhearted about the Grammys. But what do I know? I am just an older woman who loves watching and listening to them Their fun! I wish them much success for a very long time. As long as they want.

To be honest RM Suga JHope Jin Jungkook V Jimin equally deserved a Grammy. Not only JK. Don't forget that Scooter had a lot to do with JK's promotions etc. Scooter isn't a very nice person. The album was released after the eligibility period for this year. It will be eligible next year. However, the single Seven, released last July, qualified and was submitted for nomination. The Grammy’s snubbed JK and all the K-pop artist who submitted their work.

Nice point! Themes and contents of a song are crucial in its essence and beauty. Encouraging messages, supporting the youth, promoting love and peace both inner and external, empathy in depressions are some of the BTS's songs . They weren't recognized. So disappointing...

@@Cloudfive55 I think the Recording Academy should do blind voting with each record having a mandatory amount of times a record must be thoroughly listened through and broken down into different technical aspects of the record. The real issue with the Grammys is the placements of some records in genre categories that might not accurately fit, lots of songs these days infuse many genre's. Like for example pop is alot harder to define, I dont know what the Grammys are basing the pop genre off of. In contrast to that of The Billboards, pop just simply means mainstream domestic charting, you can see this in how they categorize typically 'pop' artist like Taylor Swift or Harry Styles, who will be nominated only in general award categories, where as others like rap/rock/ R&B country, etc artist can be nominated both in their respective genre category and the general award categories.

Grammy is not World Cup or World Championships or the Olympics. Grammy is just a USA award ceremony. So the nominations and awards by the judges only reflect USA music appreciation which has yet to catch up with Asian music appreciation by fans all over the world. Until then, let's just enjoy and appreciate our favourite singers by supporting them on all social media platforms. Time & again, BTS & other singers have shown, they don't need a Grammy to validate their music, hardwork & talents. Beautiful & Meaningful songs are still loved regardless whether it is recognised with a Grammy. PEACE 💜

In all honesty, they should have been exempt from Korean military service. I don’t know how many firsts they’ve had, but it’s been a lot. I am all for equal treatment, but they simply have achieved a lot. And as people in other industries are made exempt all the time it would have been equal to do the same for BTS.

The Grammys are not the Billboard. Criticize were criticism is due, but at the very least have a basic understanding of the Grammy awards before criticizing it. The Grammys does not vote by metrics: charts, rnks, sales, and popularity. It's BANNED in their rules and regulations. And nominations are not a win, but they are still a form of regonition.

Because of the backlash they threw breadcrumbs to kpop. They insulted jk. His song was a mainstream song in English with an American rapper and the put him in kpop category. When BTS gets back from the military I think they will get a Grammy on their next album. It’s been a hard road for the world to understand BTS’ place in the music industry. It’s happening though. But there are people that still think that BTS is a cookie cutter fabricated boy group. That may never change…but I feel the tide was turning for them when they started doing solo work. JKs work was great and I loved how much attention BTS got for their fantastic solo music. It will come I believe. Evenso BTS has a power on their own and a Grammy isn’t the end all.

Clearly BTS is greater than the Grammys. I did not watch the Grammys. I found that the ‘water’ singer won the Grammy and all she did is shaking her butt, her voice is not great….lol. The Grammys are a joke.

BTS or individually they do not need the Grammys. They have won awards everywhere. Them not having a Grammy doesn't mean they're not good enough, it just means that the Grammys aren't good enough for bts. Besides Taylor Swift is the one that wins which she should and BTS wins a lot of other places

After the enthusiasm and success Tae has shown in his military service, they will probably never let idols skip military service--hoping another TaeTae will come along.

They should be acknowledged just like the Latin and African music. it is completely unfair. They deserve the grammy more than most of the artists. Hopefully one day the Grammy''s will wake up and accept them.
