In season nine of SHAMELESS, political fervor hits the South Side and the Gallaghers take justice into their own hands. Frank (Macy) sees financial opportunity in campaigning and decides to give voice to the underrepresented South Side working man. Fiona (Rossum) tries to build on her success with her apartment building and takes an expensive gamble hoping to catapult herself into the upper echelon. Lip (Jeremy Allen White) distracts himself from the challenges of sobriety by taking in Eddie’s niece, Xan (Scarlet Spencer) Ian (Cameron Monaghan) faces the consequences of his crimes as the Gay Jesus movement takes a destructive turn. Debbie (Emma Kenney) fights for equal pay and combats harassment; and her efforts lead her to an unexpected realization. Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) sets his sights on West Point and prepares himself for cadet life. Liam (Christian Isaiah) must develop a new skillset to survive outside of his cushy private school walls. Kevin (Steve Howey) and V (Shanola Hampton) V juggle the demands of raising the twins with running the Alibi as they attempt to transform the bar into a socially conscious business.

Yeah but that's not his son, it's Carol's son and Kevin does not take care of him or raise him and yeah I think the shows trying to forget it since they had the whole V couldn't get pregnant so that's why the mother had to give birth to their child but then V got pregnant in real life and they had to scratch that story line but it was too late

Not sure why! Don't get him either. He was with Karen on season 1 she screwed Frank got with Joey left the show. It's all crazy how they've evolved and took on new roles in life! When will we see Jimmy and Fiona get back together?.

Eh Lip's story arc has been on a steep decline.. With Karen it was interesting because she was the first girl we saw him with and that he genuinely cared about and she had a good backstory. This lead to him hooking up with Mandy which was interesting. But the Sierra and Xan storylines were some of the weakest imo due to the lack of backstory and just overall uninteresting character arcs

I'm really happy for Fiona's downfall once again as morbid as I sound this just is giving me the season four/five Fiona where she was so fucked up and it was bound to happen again however it's disappointing her business and climb up the poverty level didn't last since she was a great potential business woman and I thought that would be her life long path since we saw her strive for it since season two but as Shameless taught us good things don't last in the Gallagher household, Fiona's gonna pull a Monica Lip who now has another bitchy girlfriend is trying to settle down with her which I can't see to work out I feel like it'll be another Karen incident since Lip clearly has a type and he has such a good thing going as a working class citizen which is what he always wanted since highschool he took those motor classes and now he fixes bikes I would hate for this to fail for him too if this new girlfriend gets him drinking again she seems extremely toxic but maybe Lip will be the one to get her to quit drinking anything is possible for Lips story line maybe Xan or Mandy will come back Also I wrote a long fucking essay about Ian and Mickey on a video this channel took down I'm very upset press F to pay respect guy it got over 100 likes Debby who I will be honest is now a character I can't hate she truly has a great story line and character development as a once pure child who baby sat other children the whole time during past seasons and is now a teenage mother it shows the impact characters like Ethel had on her this was what Debby was always supposed to be and Franny is the first step of a next generation and is basically the new Liam in a sense since Franny sorta plays the roll of a season one Liam the baby of the family maybe Debby will pull a Fiona since she's already playing her roll of house keeper I think Debby could loose Franny to child protective services or something similar if anything bad were to happen I think it'd be interesting to see a comparison of how Debby could be like Fiona hence Debby's quote in her early years "I don't want to fuck it up like you've fucked us up" maybe that'll happen, maybe she'll pull a Fiona Carl who already had his peak of character development is still at that peak omg how first of all he has an amazing girlfriend and is doing actual good? From a animal killer, to drug runner, juvies bitch, wanna be black boy, normal teenage boy, military school student, puppy saver, it's come full circle guys Liam is still growing up and is now loosing his guardian Fiona which raises the question of how will he turn out without her will he resent her and turn into another Gallagher fuck up? Oh boy Frank was finally being a respectable person, looking at him now compared to season one really shows he changed A LOT he's still a piece of shit though but his actions have calmed down so much after the death of Monica but now we see how he treats his new girlfriend I forgot the name of but we've seen how delicate he's been to her which makes me think that this was how he acted around Monica until she eventually tarnished him into the junkie he is and this new girlfriend will eventually bring down Frank's high on life attitude because he doesn't know how to handle the bipolar lows his girlfriend will get and it seems great now but eventually it'll bring him down too I don't want to say she's gonna kill herself since that is what already happened to Bianca but Frank has the reputation of all his lovers dying, Bianca, Monica, and potentially this new one too I'm still hoping for Sheila's return though so if this new girl dies it'd be very convenient Then we've got Kevin and Veronica I'm happy they still kept to the adoption story lines since it is a huge part of who they are and how it all started now that they have their own kids but they still have the heart to adopt which I'm really hoping isn't a baby because there's only so much you can do with multiple babies on the show you've must bring in some kind of new characters and bring back the dangers of what the show once was so maybe they'll adopt a really fucked up pre teen or something -Conspiracy they adopt Chuckie lmfao-

Dear Shameless producers,pleace finish the show while it is qualitative enough.. That's one of the brilliant shows on tv nowdays but all the things should be finished some time. The cast is amazing, the plot was genius...don't mess it up. Don't turn so ingenious script into the predictable boring crap. It's really time to finish. The 9th season is much better and much more interesting than the 8th but everything had already happened in the first 7 seasons. Now story just repeats. The 9th season is cool and it should be the last

Season 8 and 9 are freaking shit :) Loved the quality Shameless once had, now it seems like writers don't have any good ideas to develop any characters, consequently leading to turning the show into fucking garbage. Glad Emmy and Cameron're leaving this piece of shit after season 9 so that they don't waste their time working on bad script.

I don't know how anyone could like a character that raped someone and then just didn't care that they did that; to then move onto another guy -- and then try to trap that guy in a relationship by getting pregnant.
