That's the beauty about BTS' universe: Everyone interprets and understands it differently. I strongly believe it depends on your background. I myself spent most of my life with literature, philosophy and psychology ergo I always see the psychological aspect first. Others have their background in science, religion etc. so they see other aspects first. But at the end of the day we can say neither is wrong. It is simply layer over layer. Honestly I would wish - aside from their lyrics - this story would be something everyone would focus on the most, when they are getting to know BTS. Yes they are handsome and great performer, but that's just the icing on the cake. I know it sounds weird, but people tend to compare, and I heard way too many times certain boyband names thrown around. (I was at the "boyband" age, when NSync etc were big in the West. I didn't like them but I knew them.) I never though, when I was starting to get into BTS, that they reminded me of those boygroups, but rather the first thing I thought about was that their music (later on this expanded to their videos etc as well) reminded me of an artistic movement from the late 18th century, which at that time went against society that was dominated by rationality and an oppressive elitist system. Well this comment was so random, but somehow i just felt like I needed to say it.

Every new BTS video brings an upheaval and re-interpretation of the major theories. That's what makes it so intriguing, annoying, frustrating, and fun! I like what Alice said: that the scenes were showing one by one. I agree- but, in no particular order. It's up to our minds to impose order on a chaotic universe. That's why I love the storyline. Everyone's interpretation in different: Parallel worlds, the fight between good and evil, the members each representing biblical archetypes, even the theories of Jin or JK being an actuator and the whole storyline a dream.

I kinda look at it as almost 2 parallel stories (or 14 arguably) just because some of the notes/MVs/short films contribute to the "physical" story (i.e. the timeline) but then others contribute to the "emotional" story (i.e. the ebs and flows and inner turmoil of each "character"). Of course, they're all linked, but, I guess I just mean there is so much symbolism that doesn't necessarily contribute to the timeline. Doesn't really help the overall theories, lol, but... It helps me to compartmentalize the two. Sidenote: lightbulb moment that other people probably already figured out but I'm assuming the forest picture which is what jimin trades in at the magic shop is probably representative of the Arboretum incident from the latest notes. I need a life.

Will you be doing a listen to each of their individual songs? Their Wings solos are some of the best BTS songs. "Lie" is my second favorite BTS song ever!!!!! Seeing that project made me even more of their fan because of how unique it is for a group to encourage each member's own development like that. To let them each have a solo with their own styles and strengths. It really made me admire BTS and BigHit for the way they manage the group. V's short film is such a beautiful piece of story-telling in such a short amount of time. It always tugs on my heart. It manages to portray so much emotion. The scene with the cage and the puppy. . . . . TT By the way, you frequently write "holly" when I think you mean the word "holy" with one 'L'? "Holy -" is often used as an exclamation, while holly is a plant or is sometimes used as a name (usually a girl's name where I am from, but I believe Suga's dog is named Holly and it is a boy). 'Holy' means sacred but is often used in phrases such as "holy smokes", "holy moly", and "holy crap" (to list some of the more KZfaq-friendly ones).
