Yes Daniel , Young Forever was sung by 90,000 Army as surprise for BTS in Wembley Stadium Day 2- June 2,2019, they sung it in Korean there actually a romanized lyrics in all the wide screens so everyone can jam with it .. Bts thought that music organizers played the wrong song. The song is so precious to all of us so its one of a tear jerky song.

I hope you felt the rapline's lyrics, especially Hoseok's verse. The lyrics is the reason why this song is very close to my heart. Them saying that the applause will not stay forever, seats will get empty and there's no everlasting fan. We all have that kind of fear, fear of the future. What I like about the song is them trying to overcome the fear by staying true to their craft. For me, that's really hard to do. It's a hard battle inside you to push even though you're scared. I hope the song gave you another peek into BTS' mindset. I tear up every time its Hoseok's verse.

RM is the main lyricist and the producer of this really special and timeless song. RM’s pen game never fails as always.

J-Hope’s verse in this song hits so hard. V’s voice both in Young Forever and For Youth always makes me emotional. RM’s lyrics, as always, linger long after the song ends. Personally, one of the things that makes me so emotional listening to this now is seeing how BTS’ view of themselves, ARMY, and their music has changed from this point in their lives. Keep in mind, they come from the K-pop world where most groups disband or have members leave by mid-twenties (if you are 30 in K-pop, you are ancient). There is even a term for it called the “7 year curse” because SO many groups have members changes or go out of popularity and disband by the 7th year. Longevity is such a rarity in that environment and this song talks about them wanting to stay young to keep their fans and music with them. They are almost grieving the future they foresee. The song still ends on a hopeful note when it concludes with the resolve that even when the fans start to leave, they will be true to their craft and passion and not compromise for the sake of popularity. Fast forward to present and we have JK saying at awards ceremonies their goal is to be ARMYs forever artists and members continuously talking about having to sit the whole time when they give concerts at 80 and that they will have to change their name to the Bangtan Grandpas. As the years have passed, you can see BTS begin to internalize that ARMY isn’t going anywhere and I believe this is one of the reasons they have recently been more “adventurous” with their music. BTS knows that ARMY values the sincerity they bring to their art more than a particular genre, so it’s provided them an artistic freedom a lot of artists don’t feel they have with their fans (how many western artists keep releasing ‘new’ music that sounds almost identical to what they did before because they are afraid to lose their fanbase).

The ARMYs in Wembley sang it in Korean! The romanized (spelled in the English alphabet) lyrics were flashed on the big screens karaoke style so the crowd could sing along. Even without that tho, I believe a lot of ARMYs make an effort to (at least) learn how to pronounce lyrics so we could sing along while listening, watching, or attending actual concerts. 😊 And yes, the crowd singing this song is the intro to For Youth! 💜

In Wembley, there was a screen with romanized korean lyrics so the crowd sang in Korean and it was magical.

The lyrics for this song are so touching and beautiful. I wish you went back over them after watching the song. It’s telling their thoughts and feelings right after a concert while they are coming down from the intense rush that they get performing in front of ARMY. It’s their longing and feelings of being scared of losing ARMY and wanting to be with ARMY forever.

This is why I really wish they would react to the live with the mv or the dance practice if there is one and it’s mentioned a lot… bc here we have a 3 minute mv that we kinda watched twice and talked about .. but all of the discussion they could have had after watching it live and basically had the same amount of video here bc the live would answer almost all the questions that the posed… so they could enjoy it more . this is also a HUGE reason on why they can’t pick out who’s voices that it is … bc the live versions are always Crystal clear… and leaves no questions about who is doing what in the background…and bc they always tell us what about the the mv/song that they missed bc you can only focus on one thing at a time.. just solidifying doing it this way is causing them to get like 50% of the song and concept, the emotions bc they’re not hearing and seeing them do these things live. BTS make great music… but their lives are always twice as good as the studio version.. and especially you guys would appreciate the live vocals and raps . It would make more sense if you guys were watching every mv and totally feeling like you really got the point of the song or the video or whatever… but you’re really getting such an unsatisfying experience with each mv bc of things that would be answered so fast with a live that you often seem unsure about I really think that’s why you still struggle with their voices and not knowing after like what 6 months? But it’s bc you’re only hearing produced vocals… most of the vocal parts on studio versions have doubled vocals so it’s actually 2 peoples voices you’re hearing here but one of them will sing live… you guys have great ears for music and vocals… but you’re not getting the best part of the songs like this is all. I know about the time you have to film and stuff.. but you could have done the mv and live and the video be the exact amount of time bc you wouldn’t have to ask a lot of questions bc the lives would provide the answers and better experience with that song… and still be about to talk about questions with the other 12 min of the video time . I only want this for you guys.. it doesnt matter to me but seeing so many questions makes me so sad for you.. you only get your first experience with the music once… and it should feel a lot more understood or satisfying for you guys are the end of the video is all. Just want you to get the best
