This is how I would grow my kid. 1 fancy branded model for inspiration and bucket of my used used lighters and cans to make a better one. Etc. :D I grew up like that with cheap Soviet bricks until my parents decided to invest in going to Finland and buy me some real Lego sets! It didn't fail me.

To be fair, you used a ton of other stuff beside the lighters. Video title is misleading, but it's still an outstanding feat to be able to build such an intricate piece and no one can take away from that.
