Boom ain’t really doing no educating. If you listen to him he just looking at artist as a quick flip like a house. He talk a good game until you ask legit questions and that’s when he gets extra baffled. Every company he apart of flop and then he rebrand. Cmon this is cap man instead of boom man 😅

Boomman doesn’t understand the business as much as he’s saying. Just because you got a Lil’ Baby or Future feature, doesn’t necessarily mean the track is gonna be a hit and the artist is now certified. It can work that way but it doesn’t always work that way.. He is after the quick dollar from an immediate hit rather than build the artist long term and make money for longer with a full body of work. He don’t develop the artist so of course they will feel played after that one hit trick don’t work 😅

@@Jralford8 The problem that Boomman keeps running into is that he isn’t building a foundation with his artists before ‘investing’ in the big feature, and then when the big track only takes them so far they don’t have anything to fall back on - because he sells it to them as that track is gonna make them blow up If you look at the way Young Dolph built up Key Glock, he didn’t give him any big features from anyone (not even himself) for his first 3 mixtapes. That keeps the artist hungry and then enables them to build their own foundation. Look at Key Glock now… I really rock with Boomman but his formula needs to change - gotta think more long term with the artists

I see what jade is saying if an artist hasn’t fully developed their craft or audience it doesn’t matter who you put them on the song with it’s not going to pop. That money should be invested in their music specifically no features. However I do see boomans point of view he gave them an opportunity. They wouldn’t of been in that position if it wasn’t for him. Im not being funny but it shows those artist tend to lose motion when they leave his label and if it is any motion it’s only in Atlanta.

I see both sides. I feel like what boom saying as an independent label he only has enough money to do part of the work; as an independent artist they need to be able to do some of the work as well. I will say Boom as a label exec/manager should better assess how he spends his money on certain artist because to Jades point he should be able to better guide artist to ensure he’s getting the best out of his investment. What i took from Boom is ima give you the bread for what you want but if it don’t work or if you need more help I’m not gonna do anything else cus i put up the initial bread so you as the artist need to work with what i gave
