There was a loud boo after the Truck Series race at North Wilkesboro Speedway. It was because Bubba Wallace was being interviewed for his top 5 finish in the truck race on the big screen TV over the PA. Kyle Larson and Bubba Wallace talked about the noise after the race.

@@gtbronxxxxx Dude faked a hate crime and his personality is awful. He doesn't get booed for being black, he gets booed for being an a-hole and doing things on the track that are uncalled for. Fans boo Kyle Busch even louder (me being one of them) but at the end of the day Busch is respected because he is a great driver and has the receipts to back it up. Bubba is not a great driver. If he was respectable I am sure I would even be rooting for him since my favorite athlete of all time is Jordan. but I cringe every time Bubba opens his mouth and is a prick.

Dude this is a Nascar crowd...When I first attented a race in 2002 and was at Michigan SS. During driver intros and drive around people were yelling FU and giving the bird to Rusty Wallace and I was dare I say gleefully enjoying it. By the way Dale Jarrett won.

When I went to Richmond in the spring of 05 where Kasey Kahne won, Jimmie Johnson was the driver everyone loathed it seemed. He and Kurt Busch were sincerely disliked. Some was more 50 50 but yeah that was what the Nascar base was. If Darrell Wallace Jr wasn't so immature, he could use the boos as a positive. Every sport needs a villain and he could do wonders with that. Instead he chooses to play the victim and thats sad. Being a villain can be beneficial too.

There are several inaccuracies that you seem to believe are true. The facts about the noose at Talladega are: 1, Bubba never saw it. 2, It was reported to NASCAR by his crew that saw it. 3, Steve Phelps (NASCAR Prez) is the one that told Bubba about it. 4, After the race, the FBI investigated it and found that it had been there since the last race at Talladega in 2019 (season before) and that it wasn't directed at Bubba, it was just circumstance that the team was assigned that garage space. 5, Someone in the previous season formed a noose in the door pull down rope. (Sources, I follow NASCAR pretty close and Wikipedia.) If you're going to boo Bubba because he's Black, then own it. If you were just misled, then I will assume that you'll stop booing him, right?

Darrell Wallace Jr is booed because of the damage he has caused the sport time and time again. What he did in 2020 alone set the sport back massively and caused so many loyalist to walk away from the sport that they loved for so long. He brought politics into the sport and tried to play the victim card which didnt go over well with fans. He's one of the few drivers many fans will never see as one of the good guys. Is he talented? Yeah to a point but his driving style reminds me more of Shane Hmiel more than anything but his character is what drove folks to dispise him to this very day. Before folks say oh thats crazy well look at the TV ratings of 10 years ago and compare them to now. Now also comoare how many tracks downsized and how many sponsors walked away. Now look who the faces of the sport are now and that should speak major volumes. I dont see fans ever liking the guy to a major level because of the actions he's done. He's the only driver I know that had a domestic terrorism group on his car at Martinsville 2020 (No fan attendance of course). That alone would be a tough sale to ever get him liked but his actions with Talladega 2020 to his shoving of Larson last year to the McDowell comments at Bristol 2020 makes him not very well liked.

You are totally right here! 2020 alone has made him disliked by many and not in a villain manner but genuine distain from so many. He is the SJW of the sport and many long time fans cannot stand him for what he has done. Yet he is the first one to play the B card when he's been criticized of such and his supporters do the same. It reminds me of George S()r()s and how his supporters automatically jump to the heritage card anytime someone calls him out.

As I’ve said in other places; Bubba is treated like a god and he has what? One or two fluke wins? For the facetime he gets on TV between commercials and the on air coverage, he hasn’t done really anything impressive. He’s the most overrated driver in NASCAR.

Well how many tracks does the sport go to now that doesn't draw like once did? How about those tv ratings or how about the sponsors? Larson has more talent than Wallace will ever have. So much respect to Larson and him speaking well of Bubba. Especially since Wallace tried killin him by crossing the whole track to put Larson in the wall.
